Blink
I take it you're joking. However and unfortuanlly this might be a tipical responce to suport parranoid thinking patterns. And at that those Parranoid people would not understand you're joking. They might think your blink to be a sign that you're an insider with knowledge.
People refuse to see the facts of what is in front of them. The standard praticies for that many dead would mostlikely be pile the bodies up and burn them all.
Those might as well be called FEMA Bathtubs, because they are more likely to be used as bath tubs rather then coffins.

How does one control mass genocide?
How do "they" decide who lives and who dies? Do they send notes out to the doctors and lawyers, telling them not to drink the water?
How do they target just the poor or unemployed or whatever the target is?

Fantastic thread and very well researched! On the point of US troops not being willing to operate in these circumstances, I think you are being a little idealistic. A soldier is a soldier, they do what they are told, especially if they are told that it is a matter of life or death, loss of life under friendly fire is just one example. If the situation was grave and they were operating in an emergency situation, even martial law, they would shoot first and not ask questions. In my opinion the containers woul be used for cremation, as any container that is to be stacked high, would crush the lower containers and lead to contamination, they don`t seem tough enough to me. If they were for stacking and covering, with minimal transport, where would the nearest likely quarries be?
Most burials require an outside burial container to go around the casket to keep the ground from settling and the aesthetics of the cemetery beautiful with the least amount of maintenance needed.

Who should MDs let die in a pandemic? Report offers answers Associated Press By LINDSEY TANNER, AP Medical Writer Mon May 5, 7:35 AM ET CHICAGO - Doctors know some patients needing lifesaving care won't get it in a flu pandemic or other disaster. The gut-wrenching dilemma will be deciding who to let die. Now, an influential group of physicians has drafted a grimly specific list of recommendations for which patients wouldn't be treated. They include the very elderly, seriously hurt trauma victims, severely burned patients and those with severe dementia. The suggested list was compiled by a task force whose members come from prestigious universities, medical groups, the military and government agencies. They include the Department of Homeland Security, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Department of Health and Human Services. The proposed guidelines are designed to be a blueprint for hospitals "so that everybody will be thinking in the same way" when pandemic flu or another widespread health care disaster hits, said Dr. Asha Devereaux. She is a critical care specialist in San Diego and lead writer of the task force report.

From the 'people' who brought you the response to Hurricane Katrina (blown levees): US military begins planning for avian flu pandemic 10 May 2007 The US military has begun to plan for a possible avian flu pandemic that could kill as many as three million people in the United States in as little as six weeks, a Pentagon planning document said. The Defense Department's "Implementation Plan for Pandemic Influenza," which was posted Wednesday on a Pentagon website, lays out guidelines and planning assumptions for US military services and combatant commands. Possible scenarios include US troops being called in to put down riots, guard pharmaceutical plants and shipments, and help restrict the movement of people inside the country and across its borders. "When directed by the president, DoD will provide support to civil authorities in the event of a civil disturbance," the document said. "DoD will augment civilian law enforcement efforts to restore and maintain order in accordance with existing statutes." The military also may assist civil authorities in "isolating and/or quarantining groups of people in order to minimize [foment] the spread of disease during an influenza pandemic," it said. [Bye bye, Posse Comitatus! And suddenly, the US is going to control its borders? Gag me with a chainsaw! This newfound 'border control' ability is to keep people from *leaving* the US. KBR's $385M detention center contract will be expanded and renewed.]

Now We Know Why There’s A Press Blackout On S 1959 - It’s Called “ENDGAME” By DHS - Updated 7/20/08
Don’t believe it? Why coffins? Why in the middle of Georgia? Well, apparently the Government is expecting a half million people to die relatively soon, and the Atlanta Airport is a major airline traffic hub, probably the biggest in the country, which means Georgia is a prime base to conduct military operations and coordination. It is also the home of the CDC, the Center for Disease Control. I don’t want to alarm anyone, but usually you don’t buy 500,000 plastic coffins “just in case something happens,” you buy them because you know something is going to happen. These air tight seal containers would be perfect to bury victims of plague or biological warfare in, wouldn’t they? MORE
