Ideas on the Montauk Project?

I read the book several years ago and at first thougth it was a total fabrication..then I discovered there really was a Montauk POint with a real Airforce base ther as well...I began to look for more info on it and discovered there are alot of other people out ther that knew of it, So I am curious to see what anyone here at ATS knows about it or if mebbe they could offer some more info..I found this website from crystallinks that gave a good write up..but Im guessing there are more than this with even better info...could anyone please share what they know Id be very gratefull.
