This is the ATS cube.

Do you want to be inside or outside the Cube?

If you decide to be inside the cube then everyone from the outside can see you. You give up all privacy. But in the case of an external attack you can be saved by the cubular wall.

In the other hand, if you decide to be outside of the cube, you can see inside the cube. But in the case of an external attack, there wont be a wall to save you. And you have no way of knowing if someone else is watching you.

So what do you guys think, would you rather live inside or outside the cube and why?

I would only be inside the cube if there was a microwave oven inside that I could use to travel to the telephone outside the cube.

Is this supposed to be a representation of 'inside the box' and 'out of the box' thinking?

My opinion is that there is no box. Just the illusion of a box.

Sorry, no microwave. but that would be a great way to get out of the cube if there was ever one. but once you're in, your in there for the rest of time. of course, if there was a way to travel outside the cube using parallel gates that would be great too.

Humm if I say in then there would need to a big sofa fridge full of beer and big screen tuned to ESPN...

Otherwise I'll stick to my living room

It's abit like saying would you live on Earth or outside it because Earth has many dangers and being out side it away from people will make you safer and nothing will harm you. To be in the Box is good because you will find a door to get in and out.

You will find me being the one making a doorway in the cube.

So that I and everybody else, could choose freely to go outside or inside when needed.

Yes, it's a way to separate the insiders from the outsiders.
Still, some of you havent said if you will be inside or outside and why.

And to the other users, sorry guys no doors. All solid unbreakable glass, all around But that's why you pick one before you go in. Also, no microwaves, loveseats or ESPN.

Gimme a couple days to watch the Cube movies again...

I'm sure I'll get some idea about whether to be in our out from the three of them....

If thats the case, then Ill stay outise with a breathable atmosphere.

Why is this in paranormal?

Edit to reply: I think this topic is better suited for General Chit-chat/BTS. Im sorry but I dont see anything paranormal about this at all.

I didn't know where else to place it. it's not a game, it's not a skunkwork, it's more like paranormal reserch or a theory on why people act a certain way. So I don't know how I would place. I guess I had no idea where it would fit. but being a theory...who knows.

Are you sure? what if there's a nuclear threat? attack? what then. You would have no immediate protection fromt the radiation rays.

Better to live in the now (with a breathable atmosphere) than to live in the past or the future in constant fear of the unknown.

But there's breathable air inside and outside. Cleaner air inside too. Like I said, the only downside to being inside the cube is giving up privacy and not getting out. ever. you choose outside. it's good to choose.

Maybe you should clarify what, exactly, is in this cube? You have a breathable, recycling atmosphere so far. What about food supplies? luxuries? Waste disposal systems? Housing? Is the cube self suficcient?

Could you also clarify what the purpose of your question is?

If the only downside is you cant get out, and there no privacy, Id still choose outside.

Many questions. but basically, the cube is NOT real. it's a methaphor for the way people live. it's just a basic question on certain beliefs. there is nothing in the cube and nothing outside the cube, just us. that's the simple question. beachcoma kinda had it right.

Define the rules that "describe" the cube people's interaction with it....

If we have some basic parameters, then we can make a "slightly" informed decision as to whether we should exist within or outside said cube...

If you are inside the cube you can interact with other users in the cube. If you are on the outside, you interact with other users and discuss the users inside and outside. So living in the outside plane gives you more interesting subjects and discussion. it's all a matter of ideologies and beliefs.

There is no interaction between the in and out. and the cube is invisible. As seen in graphic. hope this helps.
