If you ask me the laws and people in America are way to lenient.I'm tired of people protesting the death penalty for those who deserve to die.I think it should be ok to kill a burglar in your home even if their in the front room.If the laws apparently don't apply to them we need a way to protect ourselves from those people. Its a simple solution: kill them. Less people will do it if there's a chance they'll be killed. On another note I think people possesing drugs should be publicly caned and I think people who deal drugs should be executed.Oh and to solve prison violence and the fact that most people come out worse than when they went in, I think we should keep them on a diet of food that just barely keeps them alive. That way they can't work out and become stronger and they'll be easily subdued if out of hand.Just my slightly irrelevent thoughts.By the way internet controlled guncams? Hacker turned digital serial killer come to mind? Or, maybe terrorist?

Mr. Horn shot those burglars to death and he got away with it. They were in private property and stealing property. So, I discussed the issue at that thread for a while and spoke about how it happens at Walmart everyday.

To be blunt Walmart aint gonna shoot anybody. Too freakin PC. JFC, if you buy any ammo from walmart, they politely ask "Is this for a rifle or pistol". NOW, if this is shotshell, obviously in 99.99% cases sure its a rifle/shotgun but they still ask. BUT, lets say you go into buy some 38 special or even some 22LR. Same question; "Rifle or pistol". If you state pistol they will NOT sell the ammo. Period. Sometimes I just say its a wheel gun and they look at me like I'm crazy. SAMF'ers.
Then I just say rifle. I guess them 'ol WM workers just don't know their firearms.

Please don't ever run for public office.

Caning for drug possession? Execution for dealing? I think the current penalties are stiff enough to discourage someone from doing these things, what makes you think taking it up a notch is going to make a difference?

The laws are not too lenient. If anything, it is overzealous laws in this country that would make a person worry about practicing self-defense against a burglar in their home.

Your post doesn't seem like it was thought through. Perhaps you should rethink your hyperviolent worldview.

I'd rather keep my worldview and sorry it came of as hyperviolent.
I've lived a rather frustrating life in my 17 years alive and I hope you haven't lived on the streets most of your life aswell but if you got a first hand look at the way criminals are, on second thought you probably still wouldn't agree with me. I'm violent, I justify it by saying certain people deserve it, and in my opinion they do.You'd be surprised at how little people care about jail.It currently won't stop anyone from continuing to commit crimes unless it was an honest mistake I'll admit the laws are strict on those people but anyone else and it wouldn't matter, like child molesters they very rarely reform.Youth outreach groups don't help either and I just think if this place was more or less like singapore in the way it punishes people we'd be better off. I don't know please refrain from holding it against me as I'm very frustrated currently and don't really think along these lines on a normal basis.I guess I was thinking a lot of innocent people could be spared if you purged the bad ones without further thought and was considering caning as a mercy.

So I think, We've learned much from this thread? that you can't go around shooting people..innocent until found guilty. even with technology and inventions as these, it's wrong to go shooting people just because they are 1. in private proterty. 2. stealing property. and you can't go around shooting kids at walmart if you see them putting chocolates in their pockets. I really hope that one day guncams are used properly, in Home and to kill off the dangerous home invaders..but nothing more.

hey Jedi,

I tried to approach your proposal as a thought experiment, so here goes:

How about putting RFID tags on the items normally sold at the store? Then getting those items scanned at the counter when you pay for them disables the RFID tag. Put another RFID scanner/detector on the door which scans for active (enabled) RFIDs, this scanner by the door notifies the guncam when it detects an active RFID passing through. And that's when the guncam shoots paintball pellets at the perpetrator. How's that?

Hitachi muChip RFID

RFID

RFID Powder

note: in this scenario, active or enabled RFIDs indicate that they haven't been paid for at the counter. d'oh!

that's great. not a bad idea. we could also have foot traps at the exit instead of those alarms that go off at the door, those never work. have the chip go off and get the guncam to shoot the guy and then the traps to get his feet and then we can catch em'. not bad. Here's another thought, the walmart cat. After you are hit by the paintballs and caught by the trap, the cat goes and scratches you in the face..

edit. sorry got a little silly there..but only proves the point that you can't get away with taking the law into your own hands.

Firstly, this is ALREADY a system in place to do this
remote hunting

Secondly, as long as you MAKE sure to warn the people before hand

"Stop or you WILL BE SHOT!!" which puts the burden on the thief to get shot or not ( like in Mr. Horns case BTW )

and thirdly that the GUN on the GUNCAM is highly visible, (ie not hidden in anyway, like the shotgun Mr Horn was carring) I see no problem with this for walmart parking lot or anyones home interior ( battery back ups have been in place for burglar alarms for YEARS )
