Thanks so much, Seekerof and Intelgurl for the greetings and links. I really enjoy being able to discuss these subjects with others. Unfortunately,
all the info on the links is the same re-telling of the tale weve all become so familiar with.
A question: on one of the links Intelgurl sent, there's this quote:
"..NASA's Ron Koczor told New Scientist: "We expect to be ready to test the device in late September 2002."
So, that was almost two years ago, you'd think we'd have heard something by now. I am aware, of course, as I'm sure all of you are, that, if the
tests were successful, the whole project would be immediately moved into the black world. So maybe that's what we're dealing with here. It seems
interesting to me that there's so much information about such a revolutionary
subject, and then the outpouring of info just suddenly stops.
I suppose my next step is to just start emailing the persons involved directly. I don't really feel comfortable sticking my head out of the sand that
much, but, hey, what's the worse that can happen, right? (ha! famous last words...)
Thanks again for taking the time to correspond, Ill post any pertinent info I find out about as it comes to me.
