It's Official!!

as of yesterday at 6 pm I am now an official california certified state corrections officer!!WOO HOO! i graduated from the academy yesterday! and im so damn happy to be done it was a lot of hard work and i pushed myself to the limits so yeah ill admit im proud of myself! haha

Good for you. I hope you enjoy your new position. I now am sure I know of at least one person who won't be seen on video tasering a handcuffed prisoner 27 times in a row!

(26 times won't get you a record I'm sure. )

Seriously, it's a;ways good to achieve the things you aim for, and I for one am proud of you.

Congrats and welcome to our profession. I've been a Correctional Officer for almost 18 years. It's a tough way to earn a living but I've met so many wonderful, caring people that I'm proud to work with. If ever you need to vent I'm a u2u away. Take care and be safe.

hey everyone thanks for the awesome words and support!!! hahahaha i dont know about me being too hot hahaha but thank you.. i dont plan on wearing make up or anything ..i went to a training center today and joined some muy tai kickboxing and MMA so i can stay in shape and be on top of my game.

and to the fellow C.O on here ..thanks so much for the support yeah its a crazy job but hey someones got to do it. i plan on taking a course or two while i work ..i want to become a csi but i need money to live on my own and go to school and my professor convinced me to join the academy

but yeah it was a lot of work lots of blood sweat and tears ahaha lots of yelling and running to but it was awesome and i met great people

hahah yeah nah i wont power trip at all nor will i get tazer happy hahha they taught us alllllll about liability

it was somewhat hard..mostly the physical stuff we went through a lot of mental things too like getting yelled at etc the academics we're the easiest part
but i liked it a lot it really changed me in a good way.im more professional now when it comes to things and disciplined etc.
