ATLANTA — Two years after French doctors stunned the world with the first partial face transplant, other doctors remain cautious about pursuing the surgery.

The French patient, Isabelle Dinoire, has a new face that resembles and moves like the one she was born with.

Wow. Looky what the humans are doing now.

So plastic surgery + face transplant = TOTAL MAKEOVER.

This is great news for burn victims, etc, who have had severe damage done to their face. The only downside for you is that you are gonna be sporting the face of a dead person. That would be kinda weird to look in the mirror... but better than burns.

Think about the uses in the intelligence field, or for seriously deranged "bad guys" that have a need to hide their identity. Now that your face is no longer a trusted way to identify you, this will make an even stronger case for the need for RFIDs.

As usual, I see dramatic good and bad in this ability. Interesting, to say the least.
