great news, the greatest superhero team will finally be shown on the big screen in a live action feature. with adam brody as wally west aka the flash, megan gale as wonder woman, and armie hammer as burce wayne aka batman. scott porter is also rumored to play the role of clark kent aka superman, and common as john stewart aka the green lantern. they will be facing off against maxwell lord and the N.O.M.A.C's or whatever. oh yeah teresa palmer will be talia al ghul. this is sweet, the film is set to be released in 2010.

I know this will be awesome to the JLA fans, but to the Superman fans it will suck. I say this because, the JLA film is a higher priority to the studio than the Superman sequel. But, the Superman sequel (titled The Man of Steel) is scheduled for a 2009 release date when this one is scheduled for a 2010 release date. Even though this one has a script and about 2/3's of the cast, and The Man of Steel doesn't even have a script or a writer. Plus, the Superman Returns film sucked so much they should just do a reboot, with different writers and a good director (yes I am implying that Bryan Singer sucks as a director, at least when it comes to comic book movies). Oh yeah, also, I made a mistake on my last reply, its the OMAC's, not NOMAC's.

I really wish they would wait until they can get Christian Bale and Tom Welling to play Batman/Superman. Then they could split the franchises again from there.
I hope to god that the next Superman movie has Tom Welling in it because he's so much more convincing than Brandon Routh could ever hope to be.

Routh and Bale said they wouldn't mind doing it when they were asked but the studio declined to pursue that option. Which is harsh on the two actors who have to fill those roles because they'll be used as the scapegoat if this movie bombs badly cause kids aren't stupid to realise that Batman & Superman are different people from the other movies they saw them in.

Only time will tell.

I can't see this as being good... But I havn't liked DC movies for a bit, maybe I'll luck, and they'll keep from trying to overdo it. I'm afraid it'll be like SpiderMan 3, with o many main characters crammed into a regular length movie with bad writing.

The cast okay and all, but i dont think theyll do a good job finding actors for such characters as Lois Lane, Lex Luthor,Commissioner Gordon, and The Joker. Yes, they are gonna be in this film, if they werent then that would suck, because theyre part of the mixture that makes the glue to keep the Justice League together. So here is a small list of actors who I think would be perfect for the parts:

Lois Lane- Sophia Bush
Lex Luthor- Hugh Laurie
The Joker- Sacha Baron Cohen or Jacob Hoggard
Commissioner Gordon- Ted Danson or Tom Selleck

The news on JLA isn't looking to good at the moment, the movie's been put on hold till after the WGA strikes and might not even go into production.
