A Question about Aleins?

Since the aliens are presumably intelligent, don't they have to travel several 100 lightyears? So, if they could do something like that, then why can't they simply make contact with us?

My personal theory on this, is that the Government's of the world threatened them so that if they would make any type of contact then perhaps they'd be killed, or have their planets taken out? This whole alien business is very confusing to say the least.

I hope I dont come across as being an ass, but think about what you just said. If they are advanced as most think they are and as they must be IF they travel vast distances to get here, do you really think WE would have the power to threaten them in any way? We cant find Osama so what makes you think we would be able to find or destroy wherever they may be from? I am sure someone has their reasons for their silence, but I can safely say its not because our government has threatened their worlds and lives.

What if we are aliens when we travel to another world. Would we stay there or would we explore? Then the remains of us being there for a while would be only left there in stories. The hundreds of thousands of pages written about the Gods seems fine with me.

I just think that we may be threatening them. What if we have allready found Osama? I can't know for sure, but maybe President Bush is waiting until the voting begins to mysteriously have him appear. Besides, if we would all work together on an issue, then I think we'd be able to accomplish just about anything imaginable in the realm of relative possibility. Don't you think so?

I also think that maybe the Aliens simply want to see what the reaction of us would be if they were to land, or perhaps someday, even, invade us.

Thank you mrmulder, the link was very helpful! I do believe most of it. I like your avatar, but now back on track...I first got into this whole Government conspiracy stuff due to seeing a TV show on Area 51, I did a search online, and one of the first sites that poped up was ATS.

Your welcome USAMRIID. I'm glad to hear you believe most of it and that you like my Avatar. I believe in it because I for one don't trust my government. I never have. I've been doing hard research on this subject for two years now ever since I became interested in UFO's which is just about the time I noticed the government was taking advantage of me. I've read tons of articles on the subject and after gathering all the information and then reading about The Disclosure Project I've come to believe them. To me it just makes sense what they say.

Remember, always keep an opened mind. You'll find the truth faster that way.

It makes a lot of sense, do you live in the United States? Anyhow, I do usually try to keep an open mind, just as long as what I'm hearing isn't utter nonsense...

I do live in the United States. Was born and raised in Texas. I live currenlty in the Houston area. When I try to tell people what I believe to be the truth I make it sound as logical as possible.

I couldn't agree more with there mrmulder. This may sound dumb, but are you a big x-files fan? If so, whats your favorite episode, because I'm a fan too...

I am HUGE fan of the X-Files! Thanks for asking. I like Fox Mulder because I like to think I'm like him in many ways. I have several favorite episodes:

1. Deep Throat
2. E.B.E.
3. Fallen Angel
4. Erleynmyer Flask

As you can see that's just the first season. There's alot I like in each season. I really don't have a favorite because there's so many I like.

I loved "end game". "Deep throat" was also a great episode too! How long have you been a fan for?

Just around three years.

or genetically altered. according to him it is recorded in ancient history, mesopotamia, akkadian, sumerian, and even the bible's texts. some of the pictures of our solar system accurately depicted in ancient drawings or carvings thousands or more years before the telescope or modern discovery of the details of these astral bodies, seems to be compelling evidence.

I'm not a deep religious man, becuase I believe that Science can explain anything and everthing, but I don't seriously believe that we were created by Aleins.

I have been holding back posting any sort of 'X-Files related' answer to the original question, since the topic has somewhat digressed X-Files chat. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan, but was trying to post objectively, without an X-Files spin.

Impossible to say what roles aliens played in contact. We have read and seen accounts dating back to the 40s & 50s. Could the government be playing a role in alien communication? Sure, they could. I don't really agree with the original comments from USAMRIID saying the world's governments threatened "they." Again, it's all what you believe and what knowledge you have.

Even if it were possible that wouldn't surprise me. I have seen the paintings and pictures you're talking about. So I'm not discounting it as a possibility. The fact is, regardles if we were seeded or not, is that we're here living on Earth. I don't care if we were seeded by an extraterrestrial race or by a single celled organism.

Perhaps nobody put us here, I think that we just are here from evolutionary stages.
