This was the incredible scene after a car cartwheeled more than 100ft through the air before embedding itself in a first-floor flat.

John Gordon's Volvo took off after hitting a tree on a roundabout and flew until it crashed into the flats 15ft off the ground and facing backwards.

This person would have to be going very very fast to embed itself backwards into the second story of a building. I have seen some amazing crashes, this one is up there in the top 10. Mercedes had a few CLK Lemans cars go flying off into the Black Forest something like this happened, but the car was going maybe 150-180mph. It just looks so impossible to me.I am amazed the boy lived through the crash.
