Does indeed look genuine - but Military IMHO.
Isn't there still stuff flying out of Suffolk though? That - or even Norfolk - to Kent is a matter of minutes in flying time.....

arry01, Great post
Thanks for sharing your pic and your experience with us. Do you think that you could elaborate a little more in regards to how long you watched the object, and how exaclty did it leave? Did it fade away or shoot off at a high rate of speed or simply move out of the field of vision? Thanks again for sharing with us.

Nice pic dude, looks genuine to me. As you stated it moved a little before disappearing. Was it moving in a small circles before leaving or did it rotate a little and disappear. I ask this because some of the videos and pics that I do believe are genuine did this before the craft vanished. Also if it did just stay in place and disappear as stated one would have to rule out military craft as cloaking is not possible yet as far as I know. As someone stated before I do not know if any stealth craft that would be on british bases atm.

Post's like the above make me wonder if anyone reads anyone else's posts.

It is more than likely (I am 90% certain of it) one of the new prototype autonomous UCAV's Britain is developing, which includes stealth.

"Stealth" isn't the sole preserve of the Yanks, you know.

Please, check out the link I provided and do some leg work of your own. This wasn't an alien ship, but rather a UCAV project, of which we have quite a few going in the UK.

I read the whole post.... and your link.... which I see no similarities whatsoever IMO. Yes Britian does have a stealth program as does china, russia, france ect... Most world powers do, never said it was only Americans. Could it be a secrete military project sure why not, but it does not look like any standard aircraft we use today, and it is a decent picture amazingly in which we can rule out certain explanations.

Flagged !

The angle which ojcet is positioned in the sky ,it's form and specially colour,,gives some credibility to the pic, waiting for experts to comment on it !

Yes, arry, you mentioned we - the British military - not having stealth technology. We don't I think. The US military does, and there are a lot of US airbases in the UK, more than you'd think. Also my sister was born on one in Norfolk actually.

It could possibly be a stealth fighter. But I doesn't look like it to me. This could be one of the best UFO pictures ever IMO. (Despite of bad resolution)

If it is extraterrestrial, you deserve a knighthood, or your face on a banknote or something.

Great work. I'd love to know more details of your sighting. Too bad I'm at the complete opposite side of the UK to you.
Would've loved to see that, whatever it is.

nice post!

my first impression was to go with Stu on this in that it's 'stealth' unmanned or otherwise, but after closer inspection of the pic in PS im more intrigued. That's not because i found anything but more because it became less obvious... jusy is still out for me, im not that far away so ill be looking up

imo - definately unidentified, not sure about alien though

good post & pic

Anyone see a 'banking' apache 'type' helicopter? unless I get details of the maneuvers this thing was pulling, I'd have to say a sort of helicopter...thats what I noticed anyway, plus it's too pixelated to see the rotors if it was.

The stealth or the UCAV could be a possibility aswell, as the shape fits, but as for the apache, not the colour, as it looks like a silver colour. spacial distortion toward the bottom could account for ARV or UFO (hate that term) but it could also just be more pixelation of the image.

can we have the original image without zoom, that could help put some context to it?

thanks.

arry01 - you lucky thing!

I'm a Kentish man myself and I am always watching the sky's above and over the British channel.

To date I have seen many objects that I first think are not normal aircraft, and then the light changes etc and it turns out to be a regular aircraft

To date I have only ever been convinced of two sightings;

The first was two objects flying next to each other over a corn field during the day flying fast 1 meter above the crops. They were dark metallic and shaped like a torpedo with a dome on top?

The second was a light over Hawkinge which appeared for about 1 month.

Good luck to you.... Eyeball.

PS Oftern the the summer months I do see 2 jets fly fast past our office building just over the English Channel.

Where are those lines coming from on that picture? Could this be a print out of something made on a computer then a photo taken of it with a cell camera? I just see to many fakes these days. I just don't understand the striations in the photo. I'm not going to yell fake because I'm no photo expert.

Could it not be the bird of prey? That testbed the usaf were developing. It looks a bit like that from a certain angle. I'd have to say it's definitly man-made.

disc ? sorry what i see from your picture has sharp angles--------- to me it looks like it could be a stealth aircraft-------perhaps a f-117 ? or its twin ?

Crikey!

This has stirred up intertest.

I can discount the apache straight off, I was lucky enough to see one flying down the Thames very recently fully loaded, it then seemed to be moved on by a police helico[ter (dunno wtf that was about).

This was weird guys, thats all I can say. Wish I had a proper camera to take the shot at the time! Sadly the position allowed no other aspects to be included in the shot.

It was moving in small circles, side ways motions before dissapearing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have had another UFO encounter in Somerset at Nailsea which Is very high up in a valley between Bristol and the Mendips. I was led out in a field when suddenly I noticed a craft of X shape very very high in the sky moving slowly. I stood up to look closer (like that helped) and with that it shot across the sky at a speed I can only describe as unbelievably fast and then came to a complete halt still within my view and still pretty much directly above me. This was around 1996, sadly no mobile phones then!

lol..this is gonna sound crazy, but was the motion like moving your mouse in circles and sliding it across the screen? like a loop pattern? or rotating?

the weird description over, how did it look? sharp angles like a stealth of was it distorted?

sorry if you've answered this..

thanks.

Sorry forgot to ask, did you take this pic, and if so could you upload original so we could get a further out view with less pixelation for some context?

thanks again.

yeah so... not to be a jerk, but it kind of looks like a kite.... the question about the loop pattern could help confirm that... did it look like it had a lot of altitude?

Upon first look at the picture, my first conclusion was a Stealth Bomber, but upon reading the posts and seeing what people have to say and so forth, im starting to question my own conclusion.. good point was made about how the top is more of a silver vs. the stealth is black, and I don't think the sun will give it a silver shine. I can definitely rule out it being an apache, looks too oval not of the shape. But i can agree with clashrock how it could be the Bird of Prey.

We could definitely keep the spectacle open to it being a UFO. Like several others mentioned, movement will be the key indicator as to what it is.
