I ask out of curiousity because I used to live in the Big Rapids and Baldwin area for several years in each place.
I remember UFO sightings from the mid to late 90's in those areas, and have seen some unexplained things, but unfortunatly nothing as what's discribed here.

Eye witness accounts happen every day and every hour. What people want is real video footage or pictures for analysis.

Saw black big one with same light configuration in '02. But too far up and at night to notice any grills or what have you.
This was over south western Ohio heading south towards the Ohio river. About 20 miles East of Cincinnati.
Also I have read some other accounts of black triangles over the Ohio river.
This is interesting.
Eyewitnesses can put you in jail LOL but they can't describe a flying triangle?

IT's like a massive prejudice against flying things, I guess!

You really need to ask that? Just look at the first two responses... That ought to tell you...
so they are torn apart, confused and respond with childish insults and smart aleck comments...

Well this is interesting because a few years back I lived up in that area of Michigan for a summer... rented out a cabin while working on an environmental political campaign.
Livingston County is rich in local folklore. One of the most notable crop circles in the US showed up in Howell, Michigan and sure wish I could have seen it but they mowed it down soon after it appeared.
It's farm country up there and it's so picturesque, it's like something out of a greeting card... Hartland's a lot like Westport, Conn only farm-style...lol.
When I was up there, I used to chow with the guys down at the co-op and some of them loved sharing some of their UFO story's. So this gave me clue that they do get such sightings up there every once in awhile.
Undo, I agree with you that your brother-in-laws UFO sighting sounds it's man-made and I would only be saying this because the one's (Triangle UFO's over the lake) I saw looked to be man-made also.
But what's so interesting about his account of that sighting is all of the detail that he saw on that craft. Such information like this is very useful and it's great that you've created some visual representations of what William saw that day. BTW, you're pretty good at that!!

Howell, Brighton, Hartland, etc, are the new suburbia, being sandwiched inbetween Detroit/Lansing and Flint/Ann Arbor. Those farms will be vanishing soon. It used to be a recreational area and as you mentioned, a produce area.

williamjklopp,
Your original threads that you started whining that there was no new material or duplicated stories is something that the other hundreds of thousands of the members here seem to be able to deal with easily. The more people post of their experiences the better idea we all get at what's out there.

What they saw was most likely a F117 or B2 or some simmilar USAF aircraft.
