There's money to be made....Agents 2.0

Why are people seeing so many strange things these days, and why does it end up at youtube. I started to think about it during the "Im the girl who found something on the camera" thread.....Here's my reply

These guys are making money out of people like Lonegirl15 and the likes. Could it be that this new influx of youtube stuff is merely aspiring actors/actresses vying for a new audience?

Personally I think a lot of it is a case of vying for attention, regardless of whether money is involved or not.

The real interesting thing in my opinion is how the internet has essentially replaced other forms of mass media (Television, radio, magazines, etc) and will likely continue doing so.
