This is my first attempt at starting a thread;
hopefully there are not already a thousand threads on the same topic.
I have heard about major cities in the U.S. and Europe putting up camera’s to prevent crime. I can see the logic behind that. However I live in a
suburb with almost no crime, and there are camera’s popping up at almost every intersection. They are high off the ground so they are not being used
to catch people running red lights. The angle of cameras appears to be able to see inside the vehicle. My girlfriend says they are for accidents. I
guess that is possible. I would like to know if others are having these camera’s installed in there neighborhood? Who is on the other end watching
and why? Am I the only person who feel uneasy knowing that I am being watched everywhere I go?
