Hey there caughtout
Welcome. I hope you've enjoyed the past few weeks.
It's wise to test the spirit so to say. As you consider the things Ron has said you will discern whether or not he's correct.

One thing we can be certain of is that there are a lot of people (billions) that will not believe the witnesses over their three and half years. I find that incredible. People will still deny that God sent them (maybe that's why global warming is becoming ingrained in so many minds, to explain droughts and rain out of season).

You'd think when some army goes out and kills a third of man it would set off some alarm bells with people. Being what happens on that last day it seems people will still fight against God (Jesus in that instance). All that evidence by then and still fight'n.

Your points are well taken, and we believers have had to come to terms with one or more of them. Hopefully as more proof is given it will become easier for people.

I just would like to say (and I speak for myself) that I really don't feel all the doubters are blinded by satan. Now I'm not discounting all his efforts, he is after all one of the most powerful beings created.

I think most are blinded by human nature, selfish proud human nature. After all the carnally minded man is enmity against God (Rom8 I think). I feel that my mind has been opened and their's haven't (yet). Simple as that, each in his own time.

I get the feeling that some of the more frequent doubters here don't want me to believe what I do, faith wise. The 'no man knows the hour' and 'it will be elijah' say their peace a few times and they're mostly done. Look back and see how many want to pull down the doctrines I believe in. They'll go on and on and on. What's that got to do with Ron being a prophet? Why should they care what I believe, the bible tells them to brush the dust off their sandals and be on their way. For me that's a carnal mind fighting God, and taking it out on me. It happens.

That's just something I've gotten from the books, interviews, sermons by Ron and those he has learned from.

And to continue on topic-
Ron is not the only one saying that people should have some provisions set aside, several state governments are also. Unfortunately, I don't believe mine is one of them.

I hope you continue to enjoy the thread.

-Later

Thank you just does not seem enough but at this time it is all I can off you Anticipation; that was such a lovely post that I am quite lost for words. You are right about me being hard on myself and in future I will try not to be; it is just so hard not to. My GF and friends and family all say I am this good person but it’s like I am blind to it and cannot see what they see; I wish I understood why. I think it stems from my childhood but I will not go into that here as those things are very personal to me and it would be like bearing my spirit for all to see. Never the less I have taken your words and the other brethren on board and will do my best in future not to judge myself so harshly. If you guys are willing to give me a chance and Ronald is willing to baptise me and most importantly if God sees something in me to open me to the truth then I can’t be as worthless as I believe.

God bless you all.

Oh and yes I don’t think that it is mere coincidence that Ronald has been talking about April and then we find that the pope is visiting America in that month; perhaps he is coming to collect satan and take him home to the Vatican.

Hi, I've been reading this thread for a couple of weeks now and i finally decided to join. I have read 2008 by RW and heard a few sermons and interviews. I can't say I totally believe him because his claims are very bold but I am a believer of God and I understand he can and will work through whoever he pleases so I know RW's claims shouldn't be totally ignored. While RW strikes me as an intelligent man with a lot of biblical knowledge i must take whatever he says with a grain of salt...
1-One of the issues i have with his prophecies are that they aren't all that specific. He says that certain places in the US will be attacked but the methods of attack he says sounds more like he's trying to give us an idea of what kinds of attacks they MIGHT be and doesn't sound like he's saying what attacks they WILL be.
2- Some of the prophecies are things that are likely to happen anyway which would be hard to use as a sign of the end days such as the dollar collapsing..
3-Notable celebrity deaths that he says are part of the 6th seal happen all the time, celebrities are people and people die every day...I can't claim to understand how God works through prophets but I'd like to think he could've been more specific like say "John Doe" will die in this month or "Jane Doe" will die in this specific and unusual way, that way when it does happen we can't just assume he made a lucky guess. The only specific mention is that the pope will not die in 3.5 years which isn't much prophecy cuz that wasn't likely to begin with.
4-I understand when people discover truths they feel God opened their minds, but i'm pretty sure if God wants to open minds he doesnt need someone to write a book for him so I dont like when people who post here say "you wont understand God hasnt opened your mind", there are books out there which make incredible claims so you guys have to understand there will be doubters whether RW is false or not and its up to RW to prove he's telling the truth. (Now i know you'll say he isnt trying to prove anything but nobody not out to prove anything writes two books about a subject)
5-I heard his last couple of sermons about April and the 7th seal and how major events might not necessarily occur right then and there which is in stark contrast to his attitude in earlier interviews where he makes it seem as though things might already be so bad at that point that it would be hard to communicate by the end of the month (correct me if i'm wrong)

I very much would like to believe the man as nothing would please me more than to know that the lord is returning soon...but what RW followers must understand is that the doubters aren't all being blinded by satan, prophecy is serious business and following a false prophet can ruin lives. For example if i have $10g saved in a bank and i totally believe RW then say was planning to buy a second car with that i'd reconsider. Its late february so i'd probably be thinking of investing in emergency equipment, first aid, stockpiling food, maybe even securing my home to protect from intruders should things get terrible and people try to steal my food...now say its april, may, june and nothing happens i'll never see that 10g back. And since I live in NYC what if i take his warnings seriously and move my family come april to avoid attack or use money to feed children to buy gas masks to protect them from chemical attack...

I apologize caughtout. I thought someone else had replied. I will do my best as I am still learning but I’m sure more can help as well.

1. If you listen to his sermons, more specifics are revealed as God gives them to him. He can only do so much with what is given to him.

2. Yes, that is true, but the difference is now it is the end times. Also, notice how the things in which he speaks of are more extreme then ever before.

3. Again, your right, but it is the extremity of these deaths or a better way would be the more and more of them then normal. Also pay attention to certain ones in which are named people. And not that we are cheerful to see these people go, our hearts very much go out to the families and it is a sad thing, but in 1,000 years they’ll be resurrected and have their chance to live the way God has wanted for so long.

4. He isn’t. That’s not his job. His job is to make people AWARE that we are in the end times. It is up to GOD to prove what he says!

5. He did say that. However, I had received a clearer answer when I was able to meet him and his wife the next day. She told me that those who know what is going on will see it brightly but those who do not will not right away. And no there was no mention of losing communication at the end of the month, or at least I didn’t hear that. It will eventually happen.

As far as everything else goes, well, that is purely up to you. However, a smart man prepares. God has given us a brain to think logically, but you could prepare all you want but without faith it would do you know good.

I have met the Weinlands and they are very good people. I don’t know anyone to better fit people from God. They treated us like family instantly and it was truly a blessing. I have never felt so at peace. Also, there are many scriptures which tell all he says as being true.

I'm closing this thread as it has been properly jacked by a certain group.

Let's look at the T&C that everyone agreed to when registering:

1e.) Recruitment Content: You will not post advertisements, chain letters, petitions, pyramid schemes, or solicitations for political action, letter campaigns, or related online and offline coordinated actions of any kind.

2d.) Forum Gangs: You will not engaged in an organized collaboration with other members to disrupt thread topics or interrupt the flow of normal collaborative discussion.

Which is what happened here. Post accordingly.

4) Advertising: You will not advertise or promote other discussion boards, chat systems, online communities or other websites on ATS within posts, private messages, avatars or signatures without prior written permission from The Above Network, LLC.

These violations have also been noticed. Why do we have a problem with this? Not only have MANY violations of the T&C happened here, which every member agrees to BUT:

6b) Neutrality: The Above Network, LLC provides a forum for discussing a wide variety of subjects, but does not endorse any particular theory, opinion, viewpoint or position on any topic.

Allowing this continued effort of a few, some would say a "forum gang", even though it's religious, is against the core values of ATS, basically neutrality. Again, post accordingly.
