Why on Earth would you say we should close the thread because you (seem to) strongly believe the Greys are good without discussing it at all?

That aside, there is one thing I wanted to throw out there as I've considered it a lot myself. Is it possible that extra-terrestrials, assuming they exist, behave very similarly to us in terms of exploration?

What I mean by that is, when we're sending out an expeditionary group it generally consists of military and/or scientific specialists. I realise I'm applying a common human behaviour to something that isn't human but I still wonder if its worth thinking about.

Is it possible that we're simply having bad experiences with it because the Greys we encounter are forceful military-types or scientist-like aliens that want to study us no matter what?

All of this is up in the air of course! *Pun unintended* Just something I'd wondered about a lot.

I've heard a similar theory, that they are the anthropologists of their home planet. Also they could be working for like the UN of the Galactic Federation.

I would direct you to the works of Jacques Vallee and J. Allen Hynek. These Anomalous Entities are not exactly what I would define as Benevolent. I dont think they are part of any Galactic Federation or even Extraterrestrial. It is my opinion the Greys are only one form or mask of many the Phenomena uses. When you start to look at all of the data out there objectively and critically you'll find were faced with a very bizarre and ancient phenomena. One that engages in psychological manipulation and disinformation.

This subject has always interested me. My first encounter with an alien was the movie E.T., as Im sure everyone on here has seen. I absoluty loved that little bugger as a child!!! I was obsessed with ET, at 4 years of age I got my grandma to tie a message to a balloon and send it to ET. About 6 years later I saw "Fire in the sky" and seriously, that movie scared the crap out of me. That innocent view I had of peacefull ET's changed dramatically into freakn Satan himself. I dunno about you guys but seriously, Ive been comfused ever since. I dont know if you guys saw that movie but one thing that really weirded me out was when they showed you that the grey look was actually their space suits and that they actualy looked even worse with out them on. They actually looked like naked old men. From what I understood in the movie is that if Travis wouldnt of escaped the cocoon he was in he would of stayed there to rot like the other guys. Im sorry but that is anyones worst nightmare, how could anything that bad ever happen in real life. Does anybody know the true story? I heard someone say that Travis thought that they had helped him somehow. My question is, why the hell would he believe that they helped him if what we saw in the movie was really what he experienced? If he believeed that they helped him somehow then Im sure what we saw in the movie was total disinformation to scare the crap out of people and forget the whole friendly ET theory. I think that is whats going on right now. Someone is trying to scare us into believeing Aliens are demons.

But even with all this comfusion Id still like to believe that we are the evil ones, And as soon as we can all evolve spiritually together we can leave good and evil in the past and become aware of what we really are.
Children of the universe, and children of the universe are not good or evil, we are supposed to be "One". I dunno about you guys but what do you think youd do if you got abducted? Id just look into those huge black marble eyes and have a freakn heart attack, hell If I hadent seen the movie, lets say my buddy spielberg's ET abducted me, Id probably freak the hell out too. He'd say "be Good" and Id piss myself If greys are real and are abducting us I think theres a good reason for their actions that we as humans are unable to concieve, hell maybe the modern abduction thing is just a trick of getting us to live in fear. I just think that there is way to much dissinformation and too many paranoid people in this world to make a soild conclusion on this at this time.

Like someone has already pointed out in this thread we take animals from the wild and do tests on them, how do you think we discover new species and how they are 'built'? Does that make us evil? We have the 'technology' to do it but we can't ask them before we take them

No, I don't think Travis has that much recollection of the abduction to even come up with something like what they did in the movie. Check amazon and alibris for used copies of Travis's book.

The cheapest I could find that book for is $40... It's the one that makes no reference to the movie I think.

Ok I just found out the real story of what happened. You know whos evil? Hollywood thats who!!

Acording to Wikipedia Travis Walton's gray alien experience wasnt bad at all. Obviously he was scared of them but who wouldnt be? Aparently they were wearing orange space suits and actually left him alone when he started freaking THEM out.

They actually let him rome around the spaceship for a while too, leting him screw around with some fun alien star viewing machine.
Also there where human looking aliens onboard too!!

Yes, I've heard him on C2C talk about all this stuff... I heard him say he wished he'd been less scared it might have been an even more fruitful experience...

Well, even Spielberg has made positive alien movies, it's unclear to me if Hollywood wants these guys to be our friends or foes...

In my opinion I believe there are good aliens and bad aliens, by the way George Bush is evil, look at Iraq, th war is still going on what are we doing in there?

Thanks for the info on Travis i was going to bring that up, i did not know the story had been Jazzd up.
I guess its in my nature to be wary i just would have thought that if it is genetic material that they need couldnt we do that in a medical enviroment
for them work with our scientists share knowledge I dont believe we are that insignificant.. we have people that donate their bodies to science etc aborted fetus's, cloneing , I dont know, but why the deciet why the terror (i have read a few accounts that sound awfull) im sure that if lets say they need fresh DNA or the like for their cloning program because they mucked up their own reproductive abilities and they genuinely came for help we would wouldnt we OR are we already! with a deal done by Government in exchange for technology in return turning a blind eye and allowing them to abduct inocent humans.
I understand that the serpo story has lost a lot of credability but i think there is snipets of truth in it, In my opinion President Eisenhower and Truman were both brief in regards to the Aliens and discoverd some nasty truths i think that the contact with the Plaidians or the Nordics if happend is significant as they told us to choose a more spiritual path and get rid of Atomic weapons etc and warned that some of the other Aliens are hostile if true it is the Plaidians or whatever they are that could be protecting us from full scale invasion.

I am of the conclusion that Alien abduction is happening as there is to many testimonials from all over the world and all walks of life.
Whitly Striebers account was unnerving in parts aswell,, again if true.
I know im going to get hammerd for the serpo mention but this is a forum in which we can disect all info and maybe make some sence out of it all. we are a Great team here at ATS(if i may include my self in that team) im on the bench most of the time but i try to share and learn from you all.

If they really were tht evil they would have wasted all us humans and this planet already with their advanced technology. Which begs the question what do they really want???

This is an interesting thought, but don't you think there are even worse things they can do to us by not killing us? As compared to if they decided to simply lay waste to all of us in one day. I've been defending the greys as possibly good, but IMO we don't know if they're agenda is malevolent either.
