Are you outside on a laptop? Do you have a video camera? Interesting.... Well, I guess if it's doing circles it's not a satellite
Keep us posted.

Sorry, but IMO this thread is useless without any pics or videos.

But again, it could be anything...

I don't think that it is useless. Maybe someone who lives in the area could be able to second the sighting and verify what has been stated?

If not, then nothing has been lost and you really have no reason to read this thread any further.

If I read a thread that said something was happening in my night-time sky, then I would be straight out the door to check it out!

What's wrong with being tipped off to look up?

We see lights like that out over the Lake Erie every once in a great while... lol, depends when one just happens to be looking out at the night sky really when it comes down to it.

Thanks for sharing. You've inspired me to look out there now to see if anything's out there in my neck of the woods (Fairport Harbor).

Yes, that would be the star Aldebaran.

It tends to have a red/gold appearance.

earthsky.org

...Aldebaran, the brightest star in Taurus the Bull. This star appears red in color and is sometimes thought of as the fiery Eye of the Bull.

I'm also in Toledo. What direction were you looking? At what point on the horizon? It's raining and completely cloudy right now but I can go out and look tomorrow to see if I see the same thing, if you can give me more info.
