Why is it so hard to imagine that it´s just a formation of planes?

It's hard to believe it is a formation of planes because:

  1. It doesn't make any noise. We can verify this as we can hear cars passing by, but no noise. A formation of planes is quite loud.
  2. If it were a formation of planes that made no sound, it would be a top-secret military craft. As far as I know, they don't build and test top-secret military planes by the squadron. That would be an enourmous waste of money.

A whole bunch of crap about airforce bases being in the area ... Like a million of them

Granted, I'm not an American and the canadian government probably only has one air force base for every two provinces, doesn't anyone else find it totally crazy that you can pretty much throw a dart at a map of the USA and land smack dab in the middle of 3, 000 airforce bases?

Is there anywhere in the USA that is near a populated city that IS NOT surrounded by countless military bases?

Please, if this is your arguement, it's a blanket for EVERY SINGLE SIGHTING in the modern era.

EDIT
I'm going to answer my own question.

Apperantly there is no where in the USA that a military base is not 200 miles away.

A very interesting video and good followup posts. I tried to enhance a few screen captures of the object(s) but I found out once again that this usually fails on a nighttime video or photo. It certainly reminds me of the Phoenix "lights".

I'm leaning towards the stealth blimp theory.

Hey, Enrikez: WHAT about WAKE UP before posting?
I've NEVER said that. Are you dreaming?

[edit on 22/11/2007 by internos]

No, not exactly ... But don't you like my little additions? It's like a free trip for you inside my head, to see what I see.

For the record, this is what you first said:

Anyway, it would be interesting to know the USAF airbases locations,
since its light configuration doesn't look to be a conventional one:
i mean, if it's an aircraft, i think it's a bit unlikely that it took off
from a non military airport, but i could be wrong
...
[edit on 22/11/2007 by internos]

Why would it be interesting to find USAF base locations and if the craft took off from one of them?

Oh, I know ... To say that it took off from a USAF base. *slaps forehead*

Do you remember posting this and then a list of numerous bases, 200 miles away?!

okay.

I guess reading between the lines, even when the aim is as clear as day, is called 'putting words in your mouth'.

We saw the UFO a little bit before West Manning Ave. at aprox. 6:30 pm... hope that helps a little. We are planning a trip back there with better camera equiptment in the near future.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone

There is no need to try and keep goading me into an off topic debate here.

My point, if it wasn't obvious, was that there are military bases all across the USA.

Most are within a 200 mile radius of everything. If you are going to list bases that far away (and why not, I'm sure any top secret craft would have a flight distance of over 200miles, or it would be useless), then it renders the entire exercise useless.

Hey Blondie,

This one still has me (and others it seems like) baffled. When you go back could take video of the same location during the day, so we could get an idea of what's out there. Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving

Your point is obvious NOW, it wasn't before. Many people reads only the last page of the thread: i don't want that the other members could think that I've posted the crap that YOU've posted.
Anyway, normally we start putting all the bases in the map, at the end of the process we keep only the closest ones: that only after assesting which are the activities in that base.
If you disagree with this method, you are free to enlighten us showing us what is the better way in your opinion, IN A CIVIL MANNER instead of HOW YOU DID, PERIOD.

Sure, I apologize. I thought it would be obvious to anyone that I was using the 'quote' feature and then summarizing your post for comedic effect.

If it was taken as people thought that was what you had actually posted, I'm sorry.

Regardless,

The fact that there is a 'closest' military base to a sighting ... What does this prove?

I'd imagine a military test could be a long-range test flight, even trans-continental ... So how does proximity (when talking about testing new planes) have much to do with anything?

What are you hoping to find?

Don't worry: to me no offense was intended at all

Well, i think that we haven't many chance: sometimes we managed to explain certain sightings (in netherland and belgium, for example), but of course here is another strory
. The problem is that there isn't media coverage, and besides the video, which i find convincing, says almost nothing about the shape of the object: there's a base @ 30 miles, if we'd find out that there there are models of crafts which lights configuration could match what we see in the video... it could be a step.

Hi Blondie. What time does it get dark there? 6:30 seems a little early for total darkness to me, but I know the time recently changed back from D.S.T. and I live in the midwest.

What's up?
Are you having a bad day or something? Maybe having sit at the same dinner table with a one of your bratty sisters? lol... could be even a bad hair day but you seem to be VENTING where you are taking it out on this board by targeting one of our best researchers.. internos is the only member here who's been taking the time to some time consuming (and technically complicated) research on some of those sightings talked about on ATS for for several cases on this board now... nobody else is doing that because most of us are clueless on even how to do that!!

If you think you can do a better job than let's see it! Let's see if you can do better!

Edit... oh, ok.. seems like all's well now.. whew!
