Of course, the real hardcore Ron Paul fanatics are still beating the Internet drums, but after reading a few more recent articles, I wonder if some of the more casual supporters are starting to worry more about which party the votes are going to be pulled from most.

Nobody wants so see a repeat of the Gore/Bush election, where it could be argued that Ralph Nader supporters ended up pulling critical votes away from the Democratic party and therefore giving Bush the edge in the election. Some articles suggest that although Ron Paul is essentially a conservative Republican, more votes might still be pulled away from the Democrats than from the Republicans.

I have to say that even on this board, the Ron Paul frenzy seems to have died down a bit after the recent elections, perhaps with people taking a more realistic view of the political mechanics. Just an observation.
