I have a question. Why dont I ever really hear about there being too many ghost or paranormal events at some of the old holocaust camps? You would think that with all that negative energy it would have left an imprint somehow. Please everybody comment and leave your views and beliefs on this subject.Also please have some dignity in your replies for the victims.

Was that supposed to be a serious response?

My mother recently visited Auschwitz in Poland and she said how incredibly silent it is. Unnaturally so. No bird song, not even the whisper of the breeze, almost as though she had stepped into a void or vacuum. She found it highly unnerving.

My personal belief is that it was such a horrible place that all of the "spirits" decided to leave.

My father visited one back in the early sixties, and he's told me how unnervingly quiet it is. That would qualify as paranormal to me. Just silent. Even speech seemed muted.

I expect that very few people who experienced the camps want to talk about them, much less talk about any paranormal activity that may or may not have happened.

Though one paranormal thing that happened in every single one was the complete damning of millions of innocent people. How one human can hate another with such a ferocity is something I will never understand. In my eyes, that's much scarier than a thousand ghosts.

I must agree. If you were a ghost I dont think you would want to hang around a place like that. Supposidly ghosts hang out with there good memories.

I think this is a very good question. However, let's look at how a residual haunting would work. All of that negative energy would have imprinted the place. I can't see how it wouldn't. This would in turn record the events as played out, again and again. Were the spirits frollicing and making noice? I think not. The unnatural silence reported by visitors is most likely the mainifestation of these events, where the prisoners were ushered around... while remaining silent.

Now, with regards to actual spirits... I do agree they could be trapped there if the drive to finish something was so strong to bind them there. However, I believe that the spirits would have been freed as soon as the news of the travisty was made public. Their horrific fate is now known to the world, and they can now rest.

I think the reason stuff like this wasn't discussed by visitors is they had graver things to think about on their minds, and may have just thought they hallucinated if they saw or heard anything.

You don’t understand why they should do such thing to human?
I have no problem of understanding why it has happen. When I see the world to day, I am surprise it didn’t happen again.
People together when embracing an ideology can can really swindle themselves in to a frenzy avalanche of human perversion.
Look at what happen between the 1400's and the end the 1600 in Europe, where 1000 s and 1000's of people have been tortured and killed in the witch-mania.
Thanks God I understand it, it make me safe to think that I will never come closer to think the way those people did, either if I have to loose my life over it.
Understanding is a tool for forgiving.
Not one nation, not one race is behind any act of perversity against their human brother. As I see it we are all guilty.

i lways think something might go on at the camps with all the terrible things that went on im sure there probaly are some tortured souls that cant move on like mothers who lost children things like that but like another poster said people probaly think they are hallucinating or something.

also i think the complete silence would be something paranormal i believe animals are more receptive than humans and can see and sence things we have lost the ability to do.
i think the animals are to afraid to go near them or can see things.

it wouldnt supprise me if history repeats on some occashions like replaying a video tape over and over agin ive heard of this happening especially when something big per say happens.

take the site of the twin towers you never really hear of ghosts or spirits around ground zero well i havent anyway.
perhaps if the trorma is so big that the energy sort of short circuits in a way.

Ive been to battlefields that seem the same unnervingly quiet and surreal.. Lots of castles throughout europe that have horrible attrocitys happen in them .. the battle of Culloden.. stood on the field.. really.. I dont think its the dead that have problems in moving on..

Part of the mythology of ghosts or restless spirits is the common theme of an unresolved mystery or something similar surrounding their death. Soldiers, guards, and the like probably didn't stick around, because if we are to assume the rules are the same here, they had closure before death, or knew they were going to die, or here's the kicker

They were all prepared to die. The Jews knew what they were in for. It wasn't a mystery to them, simply a cold fact. They took the one thing that they had left to them, their faith, and made sure there was closure before dying.

At least, that's how I see it.

In our times we are taught not to accept death but in earlier times death wasnt seen as such a social disformity.. it was part of everyday life so that would equate your envisagement non confirmed..

We all intepret things diferently thats what the lovely part of being human is the rich social fabric.. In the past say 1200 ad when making things such as rich ornate decorations it was normal to make a purpose in built imperfection as to make something perfect was to be a insult to god.. today perfection is the norm but really is anything these days as perfect as the precious holdings we have from 800 years ago and how much of our culture will last that time.. sometimes imperfections tell of a time where we can only grasp of of a conclusion.. Time is the greatest of all secrets..

I spent a lot of my younger days in Germany. One day this subject was a topic we discussed with some elderly Germans who had lived through the time when Adolph Hitler rose to power.
One guy said that Hitler was a religious man and hated the Jewish people for thier part in the crucifiction of Jesus Christ. Hitlers intention was to eradicate the Jews from the planet because of this biblical event.
I also read somewhere that the Fuhrer believed that the Holy Grail and the nails that pierced Christs hands & feet were in England - Glastonbury to be exact.
I really have no opinion on the above theories it's just something which was discussed at that time.

~~~~~~~~~~~ Could their spirits have flown...? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have heard alot of stories about hitler and some of the things he wanted to do. Honestly if he had have been killed in one of the assassination attempts against him I think germany would have won the war.
I don't think it's hatred so much as dehumanization. If you see someone as subhuman and despicable, it's probably easier to do horrible things to them.
Completely serious. you know for a paranormal board it realy amazes me sometimes how very little research many people here do on anything they just believe the first thing their told about things and you never get to the truth that way. if you took the time to do your homework you would know that one of the main goals of the nazi's was occult testing and study and you would also know that the concentration camps were set up with human testing in mind. one of the oldest satanist traditions is human sacrifice and its not commonly known but the sacrifices are done to release the human life energy that is why child sacrifices are done the most because they have more life in them than adults. they did the most inhumane testing you can imagine on the extremely unlucky few in these camps and twins got the worst of it from the reports ive read. any human spirits would have had all of their essence used up so theres no way they could have stayed on this plane after death unlike some of the more strong willed spirits tend to do. i would tell you how they use this energy but i dont want to spark any interest whatsoever in the most foolish of life choices.
Ok I think you are referring to some of the tests they did on holocaust victims. Ive read one report where they actually injected blue dye into children's eyes to see if their eyes would turn blue. I dont think Hitler was using them as a huge human sacrifice to some pagan god. While I wont dispute the fact that he was involved in paranormal research I dont think he was into it at the level at which you describe. Show me some proof.
