I may disagree that immunizations inhibit our immune system, since the fact that you are introducing the very thing into your system so it can identify it and create the necessary antibodies to ward it off in the future.

It's the method by which it is introduced into the system, together with the cocktail of toxic chemicals that are introduced with it, that is the problem.

The immune system is designed to adapt gradually to an infection introduced mostly via the lungs or skin, not injected directly into the blood stream, that's very different.

It is beyond me how we have become so frail that we are afraid of the flu, so much so, people are willing to get a shot that makes them feel terrible for a few days just to keep from feeling bad for a few days ... flawed logic if you ask me. The flu is just like a really bad cold,

The un-vaccinated kids are no threat to the vaccinated kids so what's the big deal in letting people make that choice? If you don't vaccinate your kids then they are the ones who risk getting sick, not the other way around.

On this topic, I feel it's just another example of gradually tugging us to mind control. But that's the extreme conspiracy theory that even I doubt. In any case, I got mine, and I got the flu anyway. Damn things are useless.

I work in healthcare, giving flu shots at retail stores, etc. While I get a lot of takers, I also get the skeptics. I took the flu shot in 2005, just before Thanksgiving. By the time Christmas rolled around, I was SO SICK, that I had diarrhea and vomiting at the same time. Since then, no flu shots, and no getting sick (that badly) either. My company uses mostly Fluvirin.

Thus, I've not taken the flu shot, and won't again. If I could get preservative-free vaccine, maybe I'd take another, but not with all the Thimerosol that's in the stuff. Mercury can cause lots of problems, and more-so if it's injected. Doesn't make any sense to me. It's gotta be a conspiracy !!!

Possible experiment in that town? New vaccine? Forced vaccinations? Something's up in that town.

Now as for the other point of this thread...making folks take the shot, OR ELSE. I cannot fathom such an outrageous act by government, yet it's right in front of us. When are we going to stand up and say "ENOUGH !!!" and take back our country ?

I think we should bring up the "14 points of fascism" as orated by Mike Malloy, and everybody should read-over those. Also, if there's a Libertarian candidate in any of your elections, vote for that candidate, for goodness sake. And no, Ron Paul probably won't be a good candidate, IMO. We'll see.

Wow, that's kinda nuts. I have a four year old and he has had the mandatory vaccinations required for school and daycare, he'll have one more round before he starts Kindergarten next year. I had the required vaccines as well when I was young.

What really surprises me about this report is that they are requiring vaccines against Chicken Pox and Hep B now. Hmmmm... When did those become a requirement for school kids? I thought that you want your kids to get chicken pox at a young age so they will not get them when they are older when it is more dangerous, I had it when I was two. And really, as communicable as it is, it's just a fever and crazy itching right? I don't remember that far back.

And as stated by others in this thread, Hep B is an STD and blood borne disease isn't it? I don't think I've ever had any Hep vaccinations in my lifetime, is it all of a sudden a huge problem? My dad has it, but he was a needle user.

Wild, I got my last vaccination when I was 16, an MMR. Haven't had one since. The flu shot just seems silly to me, it only protects against a handful of last years mutations, not the current crop, and I rarely get the flu as it is. I usually get about one cold per year and that is the extent of my sickness. I think I've known more people that get the vaccine that get the flu than the other way around.

Thinking about that MMR again, does anyone know when the last cases of Measles Mumps or Rubella occurred? I mean I got the shot, but I don't think I've ever known anyone that has had any of those diseases. Strange stuff...

I'm really not sure what to think of forced immunizations, there are already certain vaccines that are required for school, but chicken pox? really ? I think I'd rather my kid get it now than when he's forty.

The way public officials toss together vaccinations is little more than a cocktail of poisons. When the HBV vaccination was made available for kids enrolled in public schools, 2 of my boys were in Junior High School. I opted out of the 'free shots' for both boys. The vaccination was not well tested at the time -- long term studies were lacking and I was a skeptic about the vaccination for kids.

Hep B is a serious virus but with an 85% chance of clearance, I chose to run with the odds. The majority of people who have contracted HBV are through tainted blood, contaminated instrument (either medical or recreational), or via STDs.

I used a religious waiver and there were never any problems for me (in Virginia). The boys are now in their early 20s.....never had any form of viral hepatitis.

When the kids were small, I opted for an alternate to the DPT series of vaccinations, too. I asked for DT and no Pertussis vaccination. That was never questioned when each of the kids enrolled in school. By the time they enter school, they had exceeded the age of those vaccinations.

A good immune system is an excellent defensive strategy. Especially when not assaulted with foreign innoculants and chemicals.

I don't get sick, but then, my exposure rate to germs is pretty minimal. I've never had a flu shot and I never will (for reasons that have already been stated here).

I'll just keep on, and keep taking my chances. I'm gonna live forever. So far so good.
