I take these sorts of stories with a grain of salt. But, when these stories come from my dad, I really have to give them some clout, especially when considering the context of his character.

Maybe someone here's heard of either the "Blue Guys" or the "Tunnel of Truth". (This post is mostly gas, but if either of these things ring a bell, I'd like to hear your thoughts. If there's any interest I'll post about the truth tunnel. THAT one creeps me out still).

My dad claims to have been pulled into a dimensional hallway one night while he was sleeping. I, being more "creative" (knowledgeable of occultish-like-things) told him he was either lucid dreaming or experiencing astral projection. Of course, when I had to explain to him what these things were, he said no - that what he experienced was entirely different.

His description of what happened is this (in my words):

"I found myself floating in an immeasurably long hallway of space. If you were to look straight ahead upon millions of double doors, partially opened towards you, that's what this hallway looked like. The doors on the left were infinitely stacked like fallen dominos towards you, as were the doors on the right.

"Only, they weren't doors. They were like panes of glass, stacked tightly upon each other. But as I started moving through the hallway, faster and faster, I could see clearly down the panes of glass length-wise, which would appear opaque if you looked at glass through the same angle. They were infinite in height.

"I was pulled faster and faster through this hall of "dimensions" towards some sort of ultimate destination - as I wasn't flying at my own volition. Before the panes became motion blurs on my sides, I was able to peer down them and actually see other worlds, beings, and technologies.

"By the time I realized what was happening, and started to really pay attention to what I was seeing, the dimensions were going by too quickly and I instantly found myself in a chamber adorned only with 3 floating figures and a platinum colored cube about 3 square meters.

"The figures were blue in color with long flowing robes and long, angular, gaunt faces. They looked at each other, and then to me, and motioned to each other subtly questioning each other as to why - or how - I'd gotten there.

"Admonished like a child for stumbling into a room I had no business being into, I was summarily dismissed, woken up, never able to return or recreate the experience.

Recalling the event, my dad was annoyed that "they" bothered to give him points of conventional human reference. And that that cube they were hovering over was an incalculably dense cube of pure data (Akashic Records?).

He's never heard or seen anything like his "Blue Guys" since and loses sleep to this day trying to figure out exactly what it was that happened - and trying to recall what he'd seen in detail.

Now, some context about my dad:

He's worthy of a thread all his own that's for sure, but I'll keep it pertinent. Graduating with dual masters in math and physics, he flew rockets for national defense contractors for a living. A nerdlord, armed with a slide-rule and a genius mind for coding hex by hand (which he did, to save a missile test site) which he recalls, in his own words, as "fun".

An atheistic, no aliens, no ghosts, it's all horse-pucky sorta guy.

Why on earth would he, of all people have an experience like this? What was it? They weren't aliens or fairies, they were like...some kind of cosmic gatekeepers. He still curses himself to this day for being too slow witted to realize he was actually viewing energy devices he couldn't even being to explain how they looked.

That is a very interesting experience you had Guavas. May I ask, what age you were when this happened?

This actually happened to my dad. He was in his fifties when it happened.

Great story. It sounds like (to me) your dad went into a tunnel or what I consider to be a wormhole. I've seen one myself but didn't enter, (see my thread "Are Wormholes all in the Mind?") There are hundreds of similar stories to yours and mine. A friend, during a meditation, entered one of these and found that as he went along, the sides were smooth and metallic and he could even see rivets. Some folk might consider these experiences as "just dreams" but I think there's much more to it than that. I think that consciousness exists throughout the universe and not just in the brain and experiences like that make us aware that there's much more to LIFE than we think and it's not just a release of too much '___'? into the brain. It would be very interesting to find out if these experiences are connected in a bigger way. Could there be actual "routes" and "highways" that could be mapped and used repeatedly? There's a question. Maybe the tunnel or doorways appear different to the viewer but maybe they're actually there?

When you sleep, at a certain time, usually around 4 in the morning your minds are open to view other realities different but similar to yours. It does not take much effort to visit each and return.

I'd be interested to hear about your experiences. Glad you always come back safely. I'm too scared to try anything like that myself.

Hi guavas,

I just have to say that I got a kick out of how you described your father here. Great job on that......has he read this yet? Oh, gosh! He sounds like the ultimate nerd! I love nerds!

You mentioned Akashic records, and I do agree with that. It does sound like he visited some sort of hall of records. I have never heard reference to blue beings before, though.

Maybe he was given some sort of information that he will recall at a time that is appropriate for it. Something to do with his job?

I am curious as to whether or not this experience had any spiritual implications for your father or not.

Thanks!

I Am Sam, would you care to elaborate on the 4 in the morning bit? kinda curious as to what you know and why at 4am you are more likely to find these wormholes...

uneaq, I can answer your question. That time is when Earth is nearest to the source.

uneaq, the source is the begining and the end. It is the center of this galaxy. A*star.

i watched something on discovery channel that mentioned the center of our galaxy being the 13th zodiac that no one minded to tell us about.. between what..saggitarius and capricorn i think..or is it scorpio..i think its scorpio..Ophiuchus be thy name...so you're saying its safe to astral project yourself to that location and safely return..Ophiuchus is the serpent holder..so having that in mind kinda gives me the creeps

I do not understand what you typed uneaq. But It is not possible to go to the source as you will not be allowed to pass. Your spirit matter is not pure enough yet.

i watched a program on tv the other day about the zodiac signs. and theres a sign between sagitarius and scorpio named after Enki, the serpent holder, who was a Sumerian God. this was the 13th zodiac named Ophiuchus.. the only constellation linked to a REAL man.. they say every 13,000 years or so when the universe does its galactic shift, the sun rises in the very center of Ophiuchus..which is the center of our galaxy. Literally, when we enter that stage, time stops, everything is destroyed or "cleansed" and starts over the creation process.

sorry if this seems off topic, but according to dude's pops, he could have been in the same place where all records of the universe are kept.. so it could be possible he encountered the beings who inhabit the constellation of Ophiuchus since it is there that universal time is reset upon entering the next stage...make sense now?

Hey there guava,

I can definately relate to your dad's 'blue guys' and actually posted two linked threads asking for information from people who may have experienced the same 'beings'.

How tall were your dad's 'beings' and did they have the large black eyes usually given as a common characteristic of 'greys' ? The one that I communicated with was also wearing a type of flowing robe rather than some kind of fitted 'space suit'

Before my weird senario I was very much like your dad, insomuchas, I thought accounts of this nature were either downto lucid dreams/wild imagination/attention seeking ... however, since seeing with my own eyes and not being under the influence of mind-altering substances of any kind, I have to admit that not all of the accounts I have read/heard about can be dismissed as any of the aforementioned causes.

Read the threads ... see if they compare in any way, I'd be really interested to see if they do. (threads; I NEED FEEDBACK ON THIS 'ABDUCTION' EXPERIENCE - parts 1&2).

Does your dad lookat things through different eyes since his experience ? I certainly do ... but in a positive way.

None whatsoever. If anything, this experience bolstered his atheism, because at least these blue guys - whether in his head or not - became known to him - whereas God never has.

I showed my dad a picture of a defacto "grey" and asked him if these "blue guys" of his looked anything like the grey. He said not even close.

They were very tall and very slender in stature, compared to a person and looked nothing like my dad had ever seen - on TV or in the movies. Exact dimensions of height, I couldn't tell you.

Their robes were regal but plain and flowed downwards far past their feet. Only their heads were visible. All I remember from my dad with further detail is that they sorta looked like us, feature-wise, but only smaller..smaller noses, eyes and mouth - but drawn down in a serene "governance" type of countenance.

Their expressions never changed, nor did their eyes or mouths appear to move.

The Tunnel of Truth is the other experience my dad had that was similar in strangeness to his "Blue Guys" that - also - never happened before or since.

Again, he was a asleep and found himself in a dark tunnel leading deep into the ground (not necessarily Earth's ground here, tho). This passageway tunneled itself at a gentle slope downwards. There was a faint light WAAAAY up ahead, beckoning him to continue.

He remembers being very curious and very compelled to continue to the end of this tunnel. He didn't know what it was.

As he got closer and closer, a tremendous feeling of dread overcame him. It got worse and worse and worse the closer he got to the now growing, shining light - to the point where he felt he couldn't continue - and he was in a danger that potentially had far more harm than simply killing him.

Not even halfway through this tunnel, he had to leave - immediately.

This one, he figured out on his own and was able to tell me what this was.

This was his "Tunnel of Truth" experience. He was being tested, as if being asked how much truth could he really take. The white light at the end of the tunnel was truth itself. And when I say truth, I mean, THE truth. The truth of ALL things, well beyond the beginning of time, Gods, aliens, the truth of all truths.

He said not even halfway through the tunnel, he experience a terror that shadowed death, shadowed Hell, and dwarfed anything he had experienced in life.

He's never been back and has admitted, that the "Blue Guys" can keep this one.

My dad dreams all the time, and when he says he knows the difference between a dream and something else entirely, I'll believe him.
