Damn it! This sucks, earlier on www.excite.com... there was a news article about how Russia is planning to test out new nuclear divices, during mid February to boot morale for the new Russian military. Putin also wanted to do these nuclear ICBM tests before the Russian elections in March.

The reason why this sucks is because it was there earlier and now it's gone, completely. It's not on cnn.com or msnbc, or foxnews. It's not even here on ATS or ATSNN. Anyone else know what I'm talking about? I would put a link, except I don't have one.

Hmm, thats worrying. Looks like Russia is flexing its mucles in front of the US, and with deteriorating US/Russian relations, this cannot be a good thing...

here is another links on a similair subject, russia preparing for nuclear war www.abovetopsecret.com...
They are preparing for something big....the next 2 question are: 1) For what exactly and 2) is the U.S. secretly preparing also?
I say secretly because it seems that the U.S. govt has become more secret in it actions.... why is that?

well if they wanna strike first let em, i am sure USA has very top secret stuff far in advance of nukes which they use for show more than anything else, why show the cards to the enemys, USA nicked all of Tesla's info illegally i might say too! also has all of Einstiens info too some of which is still classified top secret for some reason?

I am sure USA and the Allies can survive a pre-emtive nuke attack from Russia and China and we obliterate them we would have alot of casualties but we would survive, you can bet we have space based weapons too in case of ww3, let alone our subs, bombers, mini nukes, ICBM's, and bunkers with miltary stuff in.

You never know we might even have the anti nuke shield up and operational, i remeber it on news few years back saying yeah we plan to build it all roun USA, and also UK is getting this technology too
i reackon its up and running an been so for a while even before they mentioned the idea of building it on news......

also this harp thing we have can also bounce somesort of radio waves of ionOsphere (excuse spelling) that can bounce back down with nuke power devastation COUGH an EMP super wep shield.

russia's land mass is 6.6 million sq miles, and that doesn't include the 8.6 million sq miles of all the 'states' that have broken away from russia since the collapse. The U.S. is 2.9 million sq miles ( not including alsaka-656,000 and hawaii -56,000) If there ever is a nuclear exchange, there is alot less room to hide in the U.S. and fall out would be much more of a problem here.
here is an interesting link, it give a state by state look , in general, of weapons sites and there is alot of other interesting info..link

Our countermeasures wouldnt be worth #...If the United States govt had reason to believe Russia would nuke us, we would launch all out at them first.

Not a big deal people. Both the US and Russia test ICBM's all the time. Do you really think we just trust that they are going to work with any sort of test and evaluation program?

The US typically test fires at least 4 Minuteman III ICBM's (minues the "physics packages") a year.
