Could atlantis be the ancient tenochtitlan? Or may atlantian information pass through tenochtitlan?

I have found some maps of the supposed atlantian city, and something very peculiar is that, it looks a lot like the ancient tenochtitlan city (Mexico). It is very odd that the infraestructures are similar between both, pyramids in the center and the houses on the side in form of a circle. Besides it is in plain water like the myth of atlantis, the descriptions of both cities are similar. One of my theories, is that it's actually the atlantian city, or some information was passed from actual atlantians to the Tenochtitlan's founders.
What do you think about this?

MY reading of the subject is up to three major Atlnatian cities may have existed in the ancient past. One near Japan, one in the carribean and one I forget where. Greece area I think. Humanity has ebbed and flowed the waves on the beach.

Yes, that's true i have heard that too; but you gotta admit that both representations have peculiar similarities (pyramid at center, houses in circle around the pyramid, floating on the water, etc), so maybe some atlantian knowledge was passed down to the tenochtitlan founders.

My vote is no. Atlantis was supposedly long destroyed by the time of Plato, and Tenochtitlan was founded almost 2,000 years after Plato died. Just look up the wiki articles on both Atlantis and Tenochtitlan.
