Wow, they're actually going to continue on the subject after the commercial break, I thought for sure that was it. This is kinda crazy how much attention the subject of UFOs is getting lately, and the tone has been much more serious overall. Every clip I have seen today about the conference made sure to point out that the witnesses were normal credible men.

Yes it looks like they're finally taking it seriously, as well they should. Pilots have been encountering strange crafts/objects in the sky for decades, it's about time they got an explanation.

It's the same debunker that was on Larry King. I hate this guy! haha He is doing such a bad job at it.

Wow this guy has to be the least convincing skeptic ever. "They're just lights in the sky, that's all." Christ, is it possible to be anymore ignorant?

That debunker guy truly is horrible. It was hard to tell, but I think the show made the UFO side look better overall. Cooper had a good point for the skeptic, he asked him why shouldn't the government openly investigate this stuff? Some skeptics seem like they're so against it that they don't even want anyone looking into it lol...

edit: I was also thinking... how convenient is it that on both Larry King's show and Cooper's show they had the same retarded skeptic? It almost seems like that was intentionally setup like that. I seriously think there is some sort of agenda going on to get the people to start believing that the aliens are real...

I don't think so. He has no point.. "Fairy tales" wtf is wrong with this guy? I understand that people need proofs but absence of evidence doesn't mean evidence of absence right?..

Well was that it? The skeptic got pretty much told off there and began stuttering...
UFOs : 1
Skeptics: 0

The skeptic guy was straight out of the 70s, he was awful.... I wonder if CNN got the worst debunker imaginable to help the UFO case... too bad that segment was only 10 minutes, if that.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this guy was hired by the CIA, FBI, or whoever deals with UFO secrecy. "They're just lights in the sky, that's it." It even sounds like he's trying to drive people away from this topic.

Hahah. You would think that after the "sceptic" doing a terrible job on Larry King that AC360 wouldn't choose the same guy. Or did they choose him on purpose, knowing he'd be totally useless, to make the UFO case stronger? A guy on the street could probably argue the sceptic's case exactly the same, if not better, as he did.

Could someone provide a decent summary of the AC360 show please? Was there anything different to what was said on the Larry King show? I just missed it.

Does anyone remember his name? I would like to do some research about this guy.

"James McGaha, he is an amateur astronomer and retired United States Air Force pilot"

That's how he was introduced in Larry King Live and AC360. I think we could add 'douchebag' to his repertoire.

Even Michael Shermer tries harder than this guy! What a joke..

If some agency has hired this guy, they are doing us a favor.

I think everyone who watched the shows - even the people who are skeptic about UFOs/Aliens - could see how silly his 'arguments' were.

First, sorry for the english, I suck at it. In brief; James Fox was there, he did talk a little bit about his movie, etc. Then they briefly named all the important people in the US that saw a UFO, Pres. Carter, a guy from the present race to US presidency, etc.

They also talked about the witnesses of 14 important people from 7 countries, two of them has been shown talking about it at the NPC. After that the skeptic tried to say something logical (like if "lights in the sky") can explain the story of this Iranian (I think) fighter pilot that chased a UFO and all his instrument went off.

I don't think I forgot something.

Hope this helps

Thanks

I guess we'll have to wait and see if the NPC conference and all this recent coverage will amount to anything.

I liked Mr Fox's answer when he James McGaha said "they were just lights"
"sir you weren't there"

McGaha might be the worst disinformation guy in the business... he may just blow it for the Govt.

Well, I haven't seen any other major media organization carry this in the US.

So, I guess that's about it, huh?

See you in 2017 for the 70th Anniversary of the Roswell Incident

Haha yes that was awesome. Also, when he said that one of the witness actually touched the UFO that landed on the ground, how could that be "lights in the sky"..

I don't think Cooper is done with UFOs for his show just yet... They just introduced the subject again as if it is coming up again later in the show. I'll try to record it all when it reairs later tonight...
