Writers strike.

Well, at the risk of sounding like a complete jackalope,
what is the writers strike all about? I'm assuming money, naturally,
but what else? And whats with the online petitions and such asking us
regular folk to support them?

Sorry for my jackolopeness, but I don't really watch tv (execpt
Mythbusters,of course!)

Oh, excuse me, I guess there are more important issues to
"discuss" like "Positive spin on dollar recovery"! and
"Helicopters in Texas"!
