Is it a ghost?

In my house I always hear creaks and footsteps. I always feel unsafe. When im in my bed I cud almost swear something/some one was in my room and my bed shakes very lightly. I was told by my mother that before I was born she woulf often enter the front room of my house and feel breathing on her neck. She called a priest to come and do something (christian priest). I was also told that before we lived in my house there was some sort of a love story murder. Someone was outside planting a tree, or something, and the husband/boyfriend (dunno) murdered here and the other male (husband/boyfriend) killed him, or something similar.

Not all pops and creaks are a sign of the paranormal. Other than that I have no idea. It could be alot of things.

You have something there occationaly - but it's not male, and it don't stay there.

Have you SEEN anything you cant explain? Like a quick shadow, or a ball floating around in your room at night (no kidding)..?
Ever thought about trying to make contact through the ouija board?

Im friggin creeped out by those boards lol My mam had a story that kind of creeped me out of tha boards ^^ But I do sometimes see something at the cornor of my eye and the creaks often happen.

The creepiest thing that happened to me was when i went to turn on my bedside light and a face like two inches from mine made this really wierd squarking/skreiching sound and litterally today i open my bedroom door and stunk my hand in to turn on the light and something in the room [my house was empty] made really wierd noise.

Havent been on here in ages..but I agree with angelaLadyS...its a very large female entity.
Not as in overweight..shes tall and broad shouldered.

Caucasian and very thin lipped.

You do know that things shrink when they get colder, and get bigger when its warm, right? A house makes noises. The wood cracks, a floor can make sounds when there is a change in temperature..There is nothing spooky about that.
When I lay in bed at night I also hear the sounds of the house.

I've lived in a home that had what you are explaining. Couldn't explain the footsteps, since the floor was concrete with tile and carpet over it. However, the creeks you hear are often do to wood rafters expanding and contracting due to heat and cold, different times of the day. I'm almost convinced the steps, due to other factors as well, were in fact that of a spirit.
