U.N. chief makes Antarctica visit

Mr Ban - the first UN chief to visit the continent - wanted to see for himself the effects of climate change on the world's largest wilderness.

Wrapped in thick clothing, Mr Ban was taken to see a glacier and visited a research station set up by South Korea, his home country.

This? This is one of the first "visits" by the new UN chief? Not Africa, not war-ruined Iraq, not other places totaled by weather but Antarctica?!?

Proves where the top of the UN sit on the "global warming" issue... remember Ki-moon was the 'foreign minister' for South Korea prior to this position.

Oh, and the article goes onto mention 90% of the "world's ice" is in Antarctica.
