Just Seen huge ball of fire.

My brother just called me on the phone just around 5:25 pm central to tell me to run outside because he seen a huge fireball looking object that was flying west. As far as I can tell the way he explained it, I think it was a meteor. I'm currently in Southwest Missouri near the Kansas Oklahoma Border. Any see this or hear about it ?

*EDIT - He called back and said that it looked as though it was almost green and sparks flying off the back end. Typical meteor I think *

I looked an seen nothing but what seemed to be light smoke in the sky, nothing thick. He explained it as bright and moving fast, said it stunned him because he thought it was a missile. Go figure with all the FUD that is around.

Nothing I can spot from the Ft. Smith, Arkansas area. Some city lights could be masking it, ot it's gone past, or it's too low.
