Houston's radio guys Dean & Rog were talking about it this morning. Some guy called in with a conspiracy theory that Gordon Lightfoot had already written the song before the ship sank, so the record companies had to sink it so his album would do good. The guy was a loon!

It sounds stupid, but it was pretty funny!

I love that old story and the song as well. That song must have ten verses to it, it goes on forever.
