Bush spending: NEA

It was Laura Bush who confirmed on Thursday the $18 million boost in the federal contribution to art programs around the country.

Is he really a Republican? Spending on the NEA? WTF?? I have no problem with the NEA, But I think it should stand on its own. Even if we have to fund it, is now the time?

It's been said that he's spending like a drunked sailor. I heard a better description the other day, he's spending like a 'drunken Swedish socialist'
