what does the mark of the beast look like

first time poster, avid reader though.

i am just curious what you guys would consider the mark of the beast, how would you recognize it? is it a 6 or 666? anyway i had an accident about two years ago, where i had severly cut my hand which left me with a scar. and this scar looks like a 6 or 9 depending on the angle. and its on the palm of my hand. and it kinda buggs me sometimes that i have this "evil mark", luckly my forehead doesn't have any marks (knock on wood)

A lot of people believe it is the scar of the RFID microchip. I am not religious, but believe in this. I've heard it will be on the hand or the forehead. My belief is that it will be after the chip, and instead will be an invisible RFID tattoo.

The mark of the beast will be in the form on an invisible barcode tattoo or RFID chip. An invisible barcode tattoo is being used on cows right now, and is approved for human use as well. It's being touted as a way to identify dead soldiers on the battlefield. It can be read from up to four feet away to identify a person.
Most likely that barcode will contain your SSN number so that you can be uniquely identified.

Now as you may not now, all barcodes that are in the UPC-A format have 666 embedded into every barcode. So this UPC-A code could be tattooed invisbly onto all humans, and then scanned in to verify that person is who they say they are.

Now there is a patent for reading in the invisible tattooed barcode, and uploading the information to an online database, and being able to identify that the user is who they say they are, and then the user can buy or sell goods online as a verified user.

It will be touted as a way to stop identity theft, and kidnapping.

It is prophecy folding right before our eyes.

i wonder will the mark of the beast be used in other countries before the usa? Mabey we will be the last country to comply with the chip. Nah, on second thought, we will be one of the first ones who use this. Just like england will be one of the first ones too.

There is an end time revelation concerning the beast and the mark of the beast. It is something that i had never heard of before. but GOD revealed it to me in April 2010. You know the number 600 is found in another location in Revelations but yet it does NOT look the same as in Rev. 13!

at first the mark of the beast doesn't really look like anything our words permit us to describe,.

the parts of us contributing to the development of our words detain the descriptions.

at the physical level minded the 666 can refer to the carbon based life form we think we are. carbon molecules have a connection with 666.

at the carnal level, our cells, which may be ran mostly on autopilot adhering to the genetic instincts:

we are defined by our actions and behaviors.
our actions and behaviors are defined by our intentions.
our intentions are defined our priorities.
our priorities are defined by our loves.
our loves are not defined by others totally, but our instincts ....

our carnal loves:
0) self preservation
1) fear - the necessary tool required to adhere to self preservation.
2) food - necessary for macro-organism growth
3) family - helped protect us from our fears and nurture us.
4) friends - helped us learn more about ourselves, and made us less alone.
5) fornication - an introduction to physical love (kissing can be considered a form of fornication)
6) finances - gave us a sense of control over all our loves, and even helps pay for the scary movies.

A bit of slightly unrelated information you may or may not find interesting:

I've heard of this town not too awful far out from where I live was actually called Hell town back in the late 1800's because of it's crazy mean town's people. Also, a rumor that when viewed from above, the lights arranged in the town spelled out the word H E L L. So, I don't know about that stuff for sure, but the fact is that the zip code is 15666. It is said the zip was originated from that myth about the town. Eh, kind of interesting stuff.

I'm not sure what the "mark" will be...however, your question by it's very nature is in the Biblcal context.

We do know, based on the scriptures, that every man, woman, and child will be forced to take it. If you do not, you will not be able to buy, sell, or trade.

We know that it will be a mark that shows loyalty to a world system, and places this world system above God. Therein lies the conflict and the moral/spiritual demarkation... do you choose God and not take the mark...or do you choose the world..ie Satan, and take the mark.

So, when you are forced...by law...to take some form of a mark to show your loyalty, and if you don't...are proclaimed an outlaw...BEWARE.

The mark of the beast could be more devious than many suspect in my opinion. Computers that can eventually make decisions by themselves would have been considered a beast a long time ago. They make decisions without regard to any mercy or compassion. To conduct trade in the future and you could say even now to a large extent, computers must be used. You just have to remember the pin number in your forehead and use your card in your hand to buy and sell or get money or conduct business transactions. The computer will decide if the transaction goes through. If you use this system, you may have already accepted the mark of the beast without thinking it was a problem.

I understand what you are saying, however, since the "Mark of the Beast" is a biblical reference...we need to look a couple of chapters over from Chap.13 of Revelation.

You will see that those that take the "mark" will later break out in boils and festering sores, tormented day and night. This is part of the "wrath of God."

So if we are to believe the portion concerning the "mark of the beast", we need to also consider the consequences of taking the "mark."

yes, that's it...the mark is not a physical mark....you have to read the bible. it says the mark is in the hand or in the forehead...not on

Yes it will be a physical mark according to scriptures, because people that refuse it will also be tormented by "things" and some will try and fake the mark on themselves to escape this torment, but the things will know this and so it will do no good...

A good question, but what is the beast? Maybe it only is a myth???
