Jasn's Rant of the Year -- "Stop Whining Ya Jealous Little..."

Note to mods, there will be a TAD bit of "harsh" language in this post. Please forgive this little indiscretion as I feel it suits the post perfectly.


What in the hell is the matter with some of you people?

There is enough John Lear and sleeper bashing going on here lately that you guys almost need your very own dedicated forum.

"WAHHHH WAHHHHHHH YOU MOVED MY/HIS/HER THREAD BUT YOU LET JOHN'S/SLEEPERS STAY!!! WAHHHHHHHH WAHHHHHHH I'M TELLIN!"

Jesus Christ people! What is the freaking deal? If you have such a problem with John Lear and sleeper, why don't you just STOP READING THEIR THREADS?

I mean seriously, are you guys so addicted to the posts of JL and sleeper that you REQUIRE a mod to step in, kiss your little booboo and make everything all better by banning JL and sleeper? You guys are like a bunch of whiny little bitches shrieking at daddy because little Janey got the Suzie Sleepover Cabbage Patch Doll that you wanted and you had to end up with Tommy Toosweet. It's freaking pathetic.

And for a group that so despises JL and sleeper, you guys certainly give them enough promotion. You scream that you want them gone or censored because you don't believe in their theories and all you accomplish is sending MORE people to read the threads you feel no one should read. Use some common sense people!! Are these threads honestly the best you can come up with? Is it any wonder that when one goes to your extended profile, the only threads you have with ANY activity are the ones in which you name JL and sleeper in the titles? Maybe it's just me, but I think it says a bit about you when the only way you can garner ANY response is by attacking a fellow member publicly.


As far as the thread moving and such goes. Hell, the double M has moved so many of my threads that it's not even funny and YES, I do feel that he made a poor judgement call in moving them as he did. However, do I think this is some kind of freaking mod conspiracy against me? Of course not!! I may act like a self centered prick on here, but I KNOW I'm not anymore special than any other member here at ATS.

When threads get moved, it is (99% of the time) the judgement of the mods as to what to move and where to move it. Sleepers thread blew up and, as a result, it stayed exactly where it was. What is so wrong with that? Simply because a mod finds it appropriate to move one of YOUR threads without moving sleeper's as well says absolutely NOTHING about the overall site. All it says is that a mod felt your thread was better suited for another forum. Nothing more, nothing less.

You know, for a group that hates the above mentioned parties so much, you certainly seem to have a rather sick fascination with them. Try as I might, I cannot find any legitimate reasoning for your fascination than utter JEALOUSY. That's right, I think you hate sleeper and JL because they get the "attention" that you are so badly searching for. I think you guys look at your little threads and then at JL's and sleepers and wonder why it is that they have garnered so many more replies. Not to mention JL's little "conspiracy master" title. You guys have made it blatantly clear that that little image drives you up the freaking wall. HOW ABOUT THIS? If you want a "conspiracy master" title, then freaking earn it! I think JL has more than paid his dues, especially considering the extreme amount of flak he seems to take on a daily basis.

Maybe the real problem is, you guys are yearning for the day when your name alone in a thread title draws the same interest as JL's does. Perhaps a bit of digital "penis envy" of sorts is to blame?

No matter what the cause, your little childish rants that don't seem to go away have long since passed the "pathetic" mark. They have become so boring and predictable as to almost require zero reading in order to actually know what the thread says.

Instead of spending your time here on ATS trying to tear down JL and sleeper, why don't you sit back and think a bit and then EARN a name for yourself here at ATS. Hell, it's not hard. ATS is the most accepting community I have ever run across. One good thread and you guys are solid. So, why don't you focus on that instead of striving for the digital ruin of two members who actually MATTER here on ATS. Perhaps a good twice over reading of Springer's "D-ego" thread would be good medicine for you.

John has no REASON to sink to your level. He has already earned a level of respect you guys can only PRAY to achieve.


You guys talk so much about how people who aren't JL or sleeper get so easily banned, yet, you fail to realize that you are not being banned even though you are in SEVERE and DIRECT violation of the ATS T&C that addresses the issue of directly attacking a fellow member.

You guys should be GRATEFUL for ATS providing you with a home on the net where you are able to speak your mind so freely without having to constantly worry about gang mentality ridicule. Yet, the exact opposite seems true. You guys seem to be completely miserable because you can't attain the level of digital superstardom that JL and sleeper have. If I am correct in my assumption and you do indeed hate ATS and it's policies....why the hell don't you just LEAVE? You contribute nothing but bile in the first place, so what exactly are you losing (or costing us) by leaving? As a matter of fact, GLP seems the more appropriate forum for you. There you can attack all you want and not have to worry about anyone even REMOTELY caring what you have to say.

I'm pretty sure the mods wouldn't miss you to any recognizable degree as all you seem to do is create headaches for them with your incessant need to continue creating your "Jealousy Threads" at any chance you are able to find.

All of your little threads, in brutal honesty, are nothing more than threads designed to create argument and garner attention and/or points from like minded individuals. I swear, after reading some of the garbage you guys spit out, the thought of what you are like IRL causes an almost crippling fear to rise up inside of me.

At the very least, perhaps you should get daddy to go find little Janey and her Suzie Sleepover doll so he can fix the empty void in your life that is causing you to be so damn bitter and childish.

I do on many occasions. However, the crap has gotten out of hand. It has run rampant here lately. Another reason is, they happen to do it throughout threads that I actually DO care to read. It's annoying and senseless.

Also, this is the Rant forum and it needs SOMEONE To keep it on it's life support. I also happened to have nothing better to rant about hahahahah. Throwing my 2 pennies about these jokers into the Rant forum allows me to vent my frustration at the ignorance without ruining someone else's thread and possibly arousing the fury of the mods for derailing a thread.

Edit to add: You actually have to make an effort to go to John's little corner and read his threads/posts. However, the jealous rants make their way into too many threads where they don't belong that you can't help but stumbling upon them inadvertently.

A good, honest question.

But anyone who takes a neutral approach to this issue will see the answer very quickly. The author of this thread is asking members to ignore the OPINIONS of two members, and stop attacking them personally. What your question poses, is for members to ignore the continued personal insults that some members are forced to endur.

What we are seeing is a group of members gathering, and they are walking around these forums with a chip on their shoulder, calling out these guys at every opportunity. We even have members edging one another on saying, "Yeah, go do it! Go do it!" "I don't have the guts to do it myself, so hey.. your drunk, you go do it!"

Embarrassing.

NONE of those threads would be permitted to stand. Under the terms & conditions of use, you are protected from the verbal abuse of others. John Lear, sleeper, et all, are members just like you and I. And this standard applies to them.

The naysayers will cry that they are being protected, but they are the same ones that are up in arms when someone gives them this "preferential" treatment.

And for clarity, I will make it quite clear that this is me posting as a member, not a staff member. With that, I completely agree with Simius' assertion that this is based on jealousy and envy. Why else would someone gang up on these individuals like this?

I'll leave this one at that for now.

Well said.

And as I said earlier, it's very easy to ignore JL's opinions as he posts 99.9% of his posts within his own forum. However, these other guys post their BS any and everywhere they can for the sole purpose of gaining attention from the like minded and to start arguments over their jealousy.
