Could this maybe not mean 2000 as the great millenium we all celebrated, and it was fun New Years 1999. But I wouldn't say it was GREAT. It was wild and I had a blast but it was like any other New Year's. But maybe time actually restarted slowly then. And maybe on Friday November 2, 2007, time was actually right on track. Possibly moving faster and we just didn't think about it. I think theres supposed to be a surge in wisdom and knowledge isn't there? Especially from what I was reading, for some specific groups. Kind of sounds indicative of someone sleeping and waking up. Did I do okay?Thought I'd give it a shot and try Mikey Nostradamus. I always liked him, even as a kid. Thought this was even a great book idea kind of like Dan Brown's whole message of the V shape clues in the Last Supper painting.But I like my take on the V. Two seperate lines as in geometry converging at one point to a spot from the air. One at one time, and the other line at another time.But if the was a point to meet say on the ground, wouldn't that be a third point but not line. So the whole crossroads thing could be changed into or from something, as another way to hide something. And Magdalene, The "wife", which I talked about, never believed,she went through a drastic transformation when she found Christ and stood with mother, Mary. Ah well, just another thought, but I still love Jesus. Anyway just thought I'd try this one.

I am impressed with your knowledge of French, Latin and Greek mythology. I read your entire analysis and although your crack at that Quatrain was more like a shotgun blast(in the sense that you seem to be going in many directions at the same time) versus a sniper bullet, you raised a lot of interesting possibilities, especially when it comes to the play on language and words that Nostradamus is so famous for. That's why I originally posted the quatrains in english and the original mixture of french/latin they were written in. I too have had many years of French so I understand the majority of your break downs.

What I found the most interesting though is your reference to the Greek Goddess Hecate(from the word hecatombe). This I had not considered and I think this may be a valuable clue. Especially with the reference to the games of war because (the US) is at war right now. But can it be considered a real war -this war on terror?? or is it truly just a Game of War or a Game of slaughter.

And back to the Greek Goddess Hecate.

Damn Cybertruth, look at that!!We have our own "giant false idol"right there under owr very noses this whole time, and I bet America hasn't even put this together. I think he was refering to the great number of 7000, which is now on the Jewish calendar. 7000 is also the christian 2012. A calendar that is way off. The christians believed they could just create callendars and history. Jesus was created in 300 AD.

We tried to influence people there, but they have also influenced us in ways we don’t even know about. How does the Statue of Liberty, originally designed for Egypt, end up in New York harbor?

MICHAEL OREN: The French sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi had been living in Egypt in the 1860s and was very much influenced by the ancient statues at Luxor. He decided to make himself a colossus. He envisaged a giant statute of an Arab peasant woman holding aloft a torch which he thought might grace the entrance to the newly built Suez Canal. The Egyptians approved the project but in 1869 their economy crashed and they could no longer afford to build the statue. Bartholdi went into a depression and, as therapy, he decided to travel to the United States. Sailing into New York harbor he saw Bedloe’s Island and he said to himself, “I think my statute would look very good on that island.” He interested some American and French backers in the idea, but the Americans insisted that he change the Arab peasant to an American woman. Bartholdi waited outside a church in New York and he saw an appropriately American looking-woman and took her as his model. So the Statue of Liberty, too, was connected to America’s Middle East experience.

There is sort of a curious epilogue to the story. To build his statue, Bartholdi turned to three American engineers he had met in Egypt. All three were part of the delegation of Civil War veterans who had been sent to advise the Egyptians about making war but ended up instructing them in democracy. By constructing a monument to liberty back in the United States, the veterans completed a circle.

GLENN FRANKEL: But didn’t those officers fail to bring democracy to Egypt?

MICHAEL OREN: Yes, they did. And some people might say that George Bush should have looked at that experience and decided against invading Iraq. And yet the setback in Egypt never prevented other American leaders, such as Woodrow Wilson, from trying to democratize in the Middle East. At the height of World War II, Roosevelt was sending personal emissaries to the Middle East to promote native independence. His hope was that the region would one day merge into a United States of the Middle East, based on the American federated model.
