I took this photograph 11 months ago in the Trenton area of New Jersey. I could track down the actual cemetery if requested.

I was alone.
It was around 2-3am.
The weather was such that there was no fog or mist. Also it was not could enough to see my breath nor was I smoking.

When I took this photograph all I saw was a dark empty graveyard.

The mist and all of the lights in the photo only appeared when I uploaded the pics to my computer. I was amazed!

The most dramatic is the vapor which even looks like a stereotypical ghost with head, eyes, and arms! Then there is the green light which resembles a face is coming out of the headstone.

For me, having gathered this photo myself, I know now that ghosts or something paranormal exists. This photo and some of the other ones I took on that same trip made me a believer.

Thoughts? Questions? Debunk Away!

Wow thats pretty cool!

I see a constuct above that stone, looks weird!

Is that mist a sort of ectoplasm i've read about?

All in all, thats a cool photo. I dont have the courage much to go to a cemetary alone at night, especially alone and at that time of night! Kudos to ya, lol.

Where exactly is the ghost supposed to be located? Sorry I just can't make out anything other than bad weather in a dark graveyard.

I drastically reduced the image size for ease of ATS viewing.
Here is a link to the original photo and various sizes for your choosing.

Well, let me tell you that the weather was not bad when I took the photo. It was clear without fog or mist! All the lights, fog and mist were not visible to me and my naked eye when I took the photo. All this 'activity' was only visible to my digital camera.

The floating vapor and the green face coming out of the headstone, you are telling me you dont see this?

Check out the original photo or a larger sized one for better analysis.

Thats pretty cool, i see a creepy looking figure right beside the tomb stone. Is that fire in the background?

It was a 1/2 second exposure. I bet those light trails are some bugs flying around, were you smoking a cigarette?

Yes it was a 1/2 second exposure. I became talented on taking non-flash night photos with my digi cam. No I was not smoking, and I was alone. Again, I know its just my word.... but there was no lights or vapor to the naked eye. (I dont need glasses either).

Was that fire in the background? I dont think so. I would have seen fire in the background with my own eyes when I took the photo. It was very dark and quiet when I took the photo. I had no reason to believe I was capturing anything special. I didnt find out until I got back to my hotel and uploaded my images to my laptop. THEN WOW!

Cool picture, I've seen others similar to this with a similar explanation. I personally don't have the kahunas to go wander a cemetary late at night.

As long as you can handle it, keep it up! I love looking at this stuff.

True I took this photo 11 months ago. But you will see that I only became an ATS member last May.... and if you look further I did post a thread which included this image along with some of the others from this trip.

ATS- Ghost Vapors, Green Plasma, and Orbs galore.

I felt this was by far the most amazing photo I had and it deserved its own thread.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN MUAHAHAHAHA!

Hi all

As I look at this picture, a very strong message came to me. I'm not usually one to analyse 'ghost' pictures, but I can see that some of the headstones appear to be on 'fire'. This indicates that those souls are still being 'cleansed'. As for the mist above the headstones, I feel that it is a protective guiding energy ensuring safe passage for all those passed on.

Kind regards,

Dobbie

Great picture!! Makes me want to explore a graveyard with my camera to see if I can take some spooky pics too. I see a green reflection on top of that tombstone to the left.. is that part of the ghost too? or is there something green on the tombstone its self?

great pic. the fog is very interesting, but the lights in the background i think are just that. they could be street lights in the distance or those electric candles shining in windows, etc. the streak on those are all the same so in any case, those are all just singular points of light, whatever the source may be. neat green glow on the top of the tomb stone..i wonder if that's just an over exposure/saturation issue or if you actually caught something. thanks for sharing. good stuff.

I must remind you all... that there was NO fog! All the vapor you see was not visible to the naked eye... the weather conditions at the time were not possible for fog.

Also there were NO lights anywhere in the background. All lights you see, AGAIN, were not visible to the naked eye... but the camera saw something from another plane of existence.

The green thing coming out of the grave stone. ALSO is a paranormal phenomenon. It looks like a face! There was no green thing on the head stone. It looked like a normal headstone and quiet dark graveyard to me. But the camera saw all this activity!

I encourage all of you to take a look at the full-sized copy of these photos at the link I provided above. Especially look at the green 'face' coming out of the headstone, and the ghostly vapor which appears to have eyes, head, and arms.

Interesting picture. Definitely a lot of energy there. A friend of mine developed the ability on a few occasions to see ghosts, after practicing meditation for some years (he's a Buddhist); according to my friend, more than anything else, a ghost looks like an X-ray or photo negative. So according to him, the outline of the human form would be seen, but the person's features would look like a photographic negative. The other thing my friend said about ghosts is, if you do see one it will be easier to remain calm and not get upset if you remember one thing: A ghost cannot hurt a living person.

The green area I believe you are referring to as the head of a ghost I don't see as such. It seems to be some sort of reflection from the tombstone. The rest of it, I can't explain and I think you actually have something here. The lights in the background do not appear to be anything natural besides fire. Obviously you would have noticed multiple fires burning in the graveyard but alas you did not. So I think that should be the focal point of the investigation. Also, some of the points or fiery light do have more distinct shapes in the larger version of the photograph. All and all excellent photo, and thanks for posting. I'll be checking back in on this thread in a bit.

Interesting, but sadly, more of the same blurry images and lights. Of course, I wasn't there, so I have no idea of the revelation that came after uploading and viewing for the first time.
Suggestion: If you really want to be spooked, try it again---tripod, 1 to 3 second exposure, with 1/4 to 1/2 moon behind your shot. But first take one with full flash. (seems to wake things up) Bring along a digital recorder and an external condenser mic. Set the recorder on the ground in front of the camera, and elevate the external mic. above ground level 3 feet or so. (Not in your hand) After the flash shot, turn on the recorder and begin politely asking for presences. Use your intuition to take natural lighting shots during your "interview".
Remember to be polite, and thank them after, even if you didn't hear anything---you usually don't until you jack up the volume on the recording and listen closely.
Also, politely but FIRMLY remind them that they are not invited to follow you home.

Seriously. Don't forget that part.

Is this the cemetery on Laylor st? I heard it was haunted; however I never had the nerve to check it out.

wow, cool stuff. The green face on the headstone is pretty creepy. It would be interesting to see if you could go back and get the name off the headstone and look at the town hall records to see if he/she died an unnatural death

ok, I just spooked myself
