Breaking: Practice bomb falls off aircraft in Va. Beach

A practice bomb fell off of an F/A-18C Hornet Tuesday afternoon around 12:15.

Naval Air Force Atlantic says the aircraft was returning to NAS Oceana following a training mission at the Navy's Dare County, N.C. bombing range.

I suppose now "they" will call for an investigation to this.

During a low level flyover, the pilot was momentarily distracted by a topless sunbather. This resulted in an inadvertent discharge of payload. The offending officer will be duly reprimanded for his lapse of control. Practice runs for martial law LOL. FUnny how it just happened to be dropped next to a warehouse as well. I am not familiar with Virginia, but the question is, what was in the warehouse that they needed to do a practice run for?

How's this for a new rule-NO BOMBS ON AMERICAN SOIL. If a plane is to be loaded with bombs, it must either be at sea or on a foreign airbase.
