Blackwater granted immunity!

I take it blackwater's immunity applies not only to warzones but in the homeland too?

It seems we have a very powerful organisation on the loose.

Okay- a little refresher here if you haven't read the previous posts in this thread. The immunity given only covered testimony given in the investigation. It was NOT immunity from prosecution if the investigation showed wrong doing. It was NOT blanket immunity for the company Blackwater. I'm not sure where you're getting this stuff from.

I was reading an article in Mens Journal today about Blackwater. Something that made me mad was those guys get paid $550 a day to be over there. You multiply that by 365 and you get a figure a lil over $200K. So not only do they get to do what ever the hell they feel like, they also get paid a nice chunk of change to do it. I wonder if they get a bonus for each person they kill?

Well excuse me, but if 'the company' was not granted immunity then how can you follow that up with a statement like 'the immunity was revoked'?

Either they were granted immunity and it was then supposedly revoked, or they were not granted immunity and thus there was nothing to revoke.

The company was never given immunity. There were individuals who worked for the company who'd been given immunity for testimony during the investigation. At no point was there blanket immunity given to the company or individuals against prosecution though. Apparently the individuals in question don't have any immunity at this time.
