ok i missed the show...i am so pissed. however i went to the history channel website and they have a bunch of clips and writings on the show so i went over and watched some stuff.

i have a question concerning this that i thought maybe those of you that saw it could answer.

it the clips for the show they said and flashed up on the screen 2012 as a date that nostradamus predicted the end of the world....

but then in another clip from the show they were talking about 3797 as his prediction for the end....

so my question is which is it?

here is the clip that i saw on the history channel that says 2012
2012 reference from history channel

watch the first video its like only a minute long or something and you'll see where they talk about it.

thanks,

neither, the show was a rehash of all his stuff with the new drawings added. it basically stated again that we can determine which way we go sooner or later.

......worst letdown ever

I asked the same question in the big Nostradamus The Lost Book thread. I found this quite odd. In the show prior to the Lost Book show, they mentioned some of his writings dating to 3797, but in the Lost Book show talked about the 2012 date. Interested in this as well.

i believe its all relevant on how you take the information. i remember seeing a show about this in 99 and it showed that our world could end by the year 2020 but "humans have the power to not let this happen" and it showed a spaceship traveling through space colonizing planets. so i believe its how you see it.

both

i reckon the spin is that his 'Centurys' a book proven to be authored by MN
presented the 3797 'coded' date, so he could publish the book without getting excommunicated and labeled a heretic by the Pope & his ilk.

but now, this super find of the era, is discovered with MNs 'real' un-disguised date......which incidently fits well with the current 'hyped' 2012 date.............tell me truthfully this don't smell like a Hoax to anyone sane & sober enough to put 2+2 together ?????????

I agree that it was awfully convenient for the newly discovered date to be 2012. Credible or not, that date seems to be all the hype these days, so why not feed off of that and bring out the "lost book" to follow suite.

it all draws back to the mass populace and what is "hot" at the moment. back in 99 how many people bought gas masks and prepared for a total end bc of Y2K? same deal with this, 2012 is approaching lets get the mass hysteria machine and crank out some bucks, i will not be surprised when "2012 gas masks and more" shops start springing up.

He didn't say the world would end in 2012 neither did the Mayans or any other ancient culture. What will happen and was outlined in the Lost Book show is that our sun will align in the Milky Way's dark rift something that hasn't happened in nearly 13,000 years.
This is also what the Mayan's say and is now being proven by scientists as we approach.

According to ancient texts this is merely a new sun cycle or new age into another dimension and not the end of the world although as we move through this rift and sun cycle we could have some Earth imbalances that cause devastation that will have loss of life and perhaps alot of it and I think that is where people draw the conclusion that it will be the end of the world.
