Well, the BACKGROUND is real, and the rest is... well... phony.
And I think it was on a box of fruit loops.

Here is the maiden test flight of the Aurora prototype.

I can not only read, I can spell.

As far as your headline : first REAL pic of the AROURA
You really need a question mark on a title like that.

This statement invites humor:

i so i think this is real but how did it get out?
it says it is the tr3-b but it looks like the aroura
Can you read?

The image you linked to can be seen below. It is not the Aurora, nor is it the TR-3B (also a popular conspiracy story myth).

The image actually was an artists rendering of what the B-2 or the then Advanced Technology Bomber (ATB) looked like before it was unveiled to the public.
The rendering first graced the cover of Discover Magazine's February 1986 issue, as seen below.

There really are things that "go bump in the night" in military aerospace, this just isn't a picture of such an animal.

^ and if anyone wants to know "why do we have orgasms" as the magazine cover asks, just U2U me, I'll explain everything to you.

I recommend you changed the title of this thread, it's very misleading.

The magazine articel has me very intrigued. Can someone contact Discover Magazine and ask for a reprint of that magazine, that way someone can read the actual article and tell us what is said? I'd really like to get my hands on it.

The image, however, does seem to lack many features that the Aurora (correct spelling) is said to have, for example, a cockpit and rear ailerons.

This could be a protoype for a UAV of some kind... maybe if I had the artilce I could make a better guess!

It took me about 2 minutes in Photoshop to match the skew and perspective of the fake pic by using the original Discover Magazine pic.

it is the same image - only manipulated.

It looks like the only things you forgot to do bios were to turn it sepia and to mirror the image (look at the people around the plane).

I believe that the original picture is in fact desinged to be used underneath a notebook to ensure it does not overheat.

Unless the USAF has plan to enlarge it, make it airbourne and use to cool the Arctic, i see very little use in practice.
