This one blows me away. Nobuyuki Tsujii, grand prize winner of the Van Cliburn award for 2009...and blind from birth.

Here he plays Chopin Twelve Etudes, Op.1 during the contest.

According to Wikipedia:

Van Cliburn is quoted as saying: "Miracle is the only word to describe him. This is truly the act of God.

Juror Richard Dyer said, "Very seldom do I close my notebook and just give myself over to it, and he made that necessary. I didn’t want to be interrupted in what I was hearing."

H. M. Górecki - Concerto for Harpsichord and String Orchestra, Op. 40 (1981)
Harpsichord: Elżbieta Chojnacka
Narodowa Orkiestra Symfoniczna Polskiego Radia
Antoni Wit, conductor

nobody hates the harpsichord more than I do - it just isn't possible. I used to say even Bach can't make it sound right (I changed my mind - eventually)

but I love this

Can someone identify this peace of music, please? I know I've heard it before somewhere, but I don't know what it is.

a reply to: Hellmutt

Is this it?

en.wikipedia.org...

If I'm right I'd like you to think it's because I'm just that good, and that kind of knowledgeable - but, I totally cheated. I used SoundHound, then did some sleuthing (since it came up in Japanese). A Japanese song by a young man that died in a plane crash. The guy who did your football video seems to have a lot of Japanese music related stuff on his channel

If I'm wrong - I still cheated
