The Canadian dollar touched US$1.0403 shortly after the release of U.S. durable goods data, which came in much weaker than expectations. It was the highest level for the Canadian dollar since May 1974.

And another round of fed meetings next week where they're again, going to discuss rate cutes, this can't be good news, aside from letting the dollar fall to eventually phase it out for the nwo currency, Amero?
