We Need a Clean Slate!

I do not know about you, fellow ATS'ers, but I believe that this planet needs a clean slate. I do not mean this in a genocidal or ethnocidal way. I mean this in a Political, Economical and Industrial way.

My case is that the human race has got to this point and all I can see is entropy. We are self destructing as a race of beings. We have divisions, Racial, Religious, Political, Social and Economical. My question is WHY?

I propose a true egalitairian state of affairs, we have the technology, that in which I post this message. We need a change as the current status-quo has had dire benefits. At the moment we have 1% - 2 % who control the wealth and the rest of us are subordinate to them. Does it have to be this way?

I do not propose violence, I propose sanity.

I am not expecting a large response as it is a some what controvresial issue, and I understand. Questioning the underlying system is scary. But if you have to your own intelligence and conviction please say someting!

I truely believe that a new fairer paradigm or state of affiars is needed. I also believe that those in power have had their noses in the troff too long. (spelling)

Why exactly do you feel that humans as a race are destroying themselves?

Well my friend, as a fellow human being, we are witnessing the holocene extinction and the destruction of a heck of a lot of fauna, animal and human life, through the actions of mankind. Maybe there is a correlation with the solar cycle as well. But that does not count for the excetution of other lifeforms.

Fair point, but my main point is that things are SO FAR GONE that as a species we need to question the motives of others of our species.

I do aprreciate your opinion bud (for lack of a better term), to answer your question, I think that the powers that be have gone too far, not including you and I.

But I think that the repressive laws in so called democracies or free societies are going too far. For example the Patriot Act in the United States of America, And most of the surveillance acts, which are passed in
the UK as the media are more concerned with detritus opposed to freedom of each and every person in the society they are supposed to represent. If you do not wish a reboot , sup bud tell me the way to go???

OK...now we're getting somewhere! Yes, the surveillance state goes TOO FAR. I feel that if anyone sabotaged state surveillance equipment they would be justified in doing so.

We don't need a clean slate, we need a permanent revolution by non-complacent citizenry!

A revolution, by an non complacent citizenery is not going to happen as most people are more concerned with collecting doo-dads and baubles that they are unaware about the other stuff.

I regret my comment that promotes the destruction of state surveillance equipment. I think it is irresponsible, especially in light of the fact that current surveillance equipment is a legal means of watching what is already publicly observable. No one put me up to this, I just feel like this post that I am quoting was too brash. I do not want anyone to think that I'm carrying water for the government, they can look at my other posts about 9/11, Roswell, etc. if they (mistakenly) think I am.

Thinking that Humans are "superior" to other life forms is the largest misconception made by mankind.

What is so superior about having the ability to altering your environment to the point that it is dangerous to all other life and eventually yourselves?

Yes, we have a few gifted ones who can create rockets that go to the moon and we can create mega damns, but the rest of us drive our SUVs and take for granted the excessive power and resources we waste every day. The hours spent in front of the TV or computers while ingesting excessive amounts chemical laden processed food is primal stupidity at it's finest. We are nothing more than worker ants in a giant ant farm. We do our work (meaningless to the bigger picture except for the money it creates for the government) and drive home like robotic morons all the while oblivious to the countless acts each of us commit each day that degrade our environment.

Pandemic, Ebola, AIDS, Hurricanes, drought, global warming are just natures way of fighting back against the environmental cancer called man human beings.

My friend , I am not saying that we are above other lifeforms on this planet, experiment if you will. I think that we need a state of affairs that is not based on taking advantage of another being for a buck. And to counter act the, your a g'd commie brigade. I am not proposing communism as Marx and Engels and the other proponents of this socialististic BS. If you look at the reigns of Lenin and Stalin in Communist Russia and the Soviet Union. They were promoting a system of pure equalitity as they murdered several million people, Looks like a tyranny to me? Which is of course BS.

BUT SOME ANIMALS ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS. My point is that the system we have is BS and it is stacked so high that most people can not see past it. This is what the G,D heck we are seeing now. It would be all well and good if we could pull out of this spiral without bloodshed. It would make me a VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY (not nearly enough very's there) happy man.
But given our nature. That is impossible, case in point look at those at this site. Some claim to deny ignorance but in practice mean anything that their PRECONCIEVED notions call ignorance. They seek to reinforce their views and will not hear arguments otherwise. All the while being guilty of the self same crimes those they argue against are guilty of.
No, things will not change. This civilization will end in blood, flame, and tears and if we as a speices survive we will start the climb back up the ladder for the next big fall and possible annihilation all because we do not truly learn from the past and are not willing to learn beyond what we want to be true.

And sorry if this made little sense. I am a lazy typer and don't feel like elaborating my thoughts to the full novel size porportions it is.

I do understand your feelings, but the rules on bad language prohibit me from expressing my disgust. Yes we certain deviant humans love to kill each other and screw each other over for a buck. My question is WHY. Why should we have a minority dictate on how, you, I and every other person on this blue/green marble live.

This is ridiculous, less than one percent dictating to the other 99.9% on how to rule their lives emotionally, psychologically, economically, psyhically and spiritually. I find it is a really tough pill to swallow

It is not a good situation as I am Living in a Dictatorial regime, In The UK, we have a non elected leader who has signed over our human rights to a non elected regime, The EU Commission. I mean how am I supposed to interpret this BS!

I would you guys in the US, canada and NZ and Australia would see.

Look at the laws passed through your congress and parliament. they are pretty repressive!

I don't know the reasons why. But I have my theories. Most people dont want to think for themselves, don't want the responsibility that comes with thinking for oneself and taking responsibility for their own actions. Look at the judicial system in the US. Effectively EVERYONE is a victim in its eyes and thusly shouldn't be held accountable for their actions.
I would love to drag out into the street and shoot whoever thought of "not guilty by reason of insanity".

I know this example is way over used but...... Look at Nazi Germany. All the officers and support system let the leaders think for them and when it all came crashing down what did they say? "It was the Nazi Leaders fault. Not ours. We were just following orders." or "They would have killed us had we spoken out." or "They hid that from us."

Its far easier to let others do your thinking for you. That way you not only do you not have to do the work of actually working it out for yourself, but if what ever thoughts you let the others lead you to have nasty side effects, you have a nice escape hatch of "I was misled." or "I was sold a lie." without ever thinking about the what the full statements SHOULD be "I allowed myself to be misled" and "I bought a lie." And you remain blameless.

And that is the reason for the problems in the world today. Their systems are flawed. And a building with a flawed foundation will fall eventually if nothing is done to correct it and nothing is being done, hell most won't even admit the foundation is flawed. And that is the reason we will crash and burn.
