New documents suggest that Blackwater may have engaged in significant tax evasion, failing to withhold and pay millions of dollars in Social Security, Medicare, unemployment, and related taxes, and sought to conceal its conduct from Congress and law enforcement officials.

In a letter to Eric Prince, the Chairman of the Prince Group, which owns Blackwater, Chairman Waxman writes:

I have received documents which suggest that Blackwater may have engaged in significant tax evasion.

Not only is Blackwater employees killing innocent Iraqis, pulling weapons on American troops and disarming them in a combat zone, and recieving hundreds of millions of US tax dollars for doing this, now they are trying to not pay taxes on all this wealth of money they are being paid.

You would think with all the bad PR they have been getting, the last thing they would want to do is pour more salt in the wound and have their operation put under a microscope.

But, then again, this is Bush & Co.'s show, so nothing will probably happen to Blackwater.

Since when does PR matter? Blackwater is supported by a government that refuses to listen to its own people, so why would BW worry about what those people think about its operations?

What are we gonna go, put down our iPhones and DO something? Pfffft.
