Rainbow Clouds

Rainbow Clouds! Found this on another Forum. What causes this?looks weird i thought it only shows up on the floor.It is definitely Real.

How do you definitely know it is real?

Could you supply some evidence?

That is indeed real. Its called irisation. Works on the same principles as a rainbow ie sunlight refracting of water. In this case you have sunlight reflecting of cirrus clouds which are high level clouds made of ice.

I have to admit this is one of the best irisation pictures i have seen
