google censorship?

to start im a rapper most of the songs on my myspace page were pretty mainstream. at this time you could put in the words "bacon rapper" on a google search and my page would come up in the first ten pages. then i put up a song talking about 9/11 and chemtrails and the new american century. now using the same words it doesnt come up until after the first 50 pages. even if i got specific and put my whole name bacon the don it wont come up with my page itll come up with people who have me as there friend first.

do you really have that much of an inflated opinion of yourself as a rapper
to suggest that Google would give you so much as a second thought?

Its not so much that i think you're lying,
just that to be honest your opinions aren't that dangerous to warrant censoring by Google.

im not so worried about being on top im not that good anyway i just find it wierd after i posted a song talking about the gooberment im nearly unfindable on a google search now.

idonno all i know is it happenned. idonno why either imean im not imp[ortant at all in any sense of anything im not even that great of a rapper but it did happenn i just found it wierd how posting that song and not being on the top search results happenned so close together.

Maybe its because you spelled "government" wrong

But, Googles searches are priortized. If they were out to censor you, then the majority of the conspiracy topics on this very site would not show up

Heck just searching for Google Censorship the number one return is this site

i think that is probably just coincidence and nothing to be worried about, there are thousands of people talking about those exact same topics, i just don't think that "they" would single you out specifically just for rapping about it.

I think it's the context...

I'm all about the bacon wrapped Filet Mignon... I don't know why anyone would want a "bacon rapper" it's not even Kosher... Hell, it's not even Halal...

And now for some reason all I can think about is a bacon cheeseburger... The uber antithesis to Kosher...

um idonno when i searched it came up as wikipedia google censorship the top one. let me try something ill be back itll propably take a day to see if it works but if it does then it may prove my point

Hmm, this inspired me to check something...

When I searched for "wings of gray" just now, my Majic-12.com Music Page appeared right up top (and reminded me I really need to update it sometime soon).

Then again, maybe that's just because I'm "The Man".**

All kidding and shameless self-promotion aside, what you're describing seems consistent with how Google ranks searches.

Though there's probably some weird voodoo in there, and there are some intriguing allegations of censorship of certain topics by Google, and of course commercial link sponsors, generally the more web pages that link to a given site, the higher up it appears in the Google pecking order.

Because chemtrails and 9/11 are such popular topics, you're simply being preempted by more popular pages.

The moral of the story: be unique.

well i would say that things have all wrapped up rather nicely.

I'm quitting this one.

Google uses a new spider to index your web pages, by use of keywords and such. I'm doubting the censorship, 'cept besides being in trouble for brining up certain porn images, so they may have filtered some sites...besides that...
If you want better results or even hits, put your site addresses into an engine, along with more meta tags, that way it will be on google more.

Ok i took the song down now search for bacon rapper on google search my page is on the first results its the myspace one that says bacon the don AKA prawpaganda tactics
