Hello please take a few minutes out of your draconian mind controlled day to see what the T.V really was built to do. Television, if you break it down, means, Tell / Lie / Vision. It was built to be a mind controlling device, (T)elling lies to your (V)ision. But since this whole mind control project is hundreds and maybe even thousands of years old, most of you wont understand and will just go watch yankees and be drone for the New World Order.

Id like to add that if you practice very careful choice of what you give your eyes to see, the mind-control-unit called TV can also be used to your benefit.

But yes, in general, its a mind-conditioning-device...and a powerful one.

I've been without TV service for about 2.5 months. I can't say I miss it, and so far I've been able to focus better on whatever it is I'm working on.

As SkyFloating mentioned, I do choose my own brain-washing by controlling which shows/documentaries/sports events I watch online.

No Ads! (well, TV ads I mean).

Very Good point. I only watch documentaries, and of course Nascar..which could definitely be argued as a NWO sport, but hey I like what I like.
Other than that..I'm here!

My 52 inch HDTV just kicked the bucket so that must mean they can't control me. Or Does it? The darn TV switch lites up, you can hear it turn on before it suddenly switches off. In any event I'm not concerned about mind control
just the cost of repair or replacement.

I rarely watch TV, but I ocassionally watch sports events because the are fun and positive in comparison to the ultra-mega-super-negative programming otherwise seen on TV. In fact I think wars should be carried out as sports-events. Healthy competition rather than blood and guts.

The way TV can be viewed as "mind-control" is in the sense of a rapid number of pictures, sounds, emotions and words implanting certain concepts of reality (thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, ways of life) as normal or acceptable.

But the bias is not only a bit negative. Its far from balanced. The 8 oclock news does not mean news but mainly mans bad news with a little "positive" note at the end of the news programm. But these "positive" endings are usually so mundane they do nothing to uplift or educate me after a series of violence, doom and rage shown before.

Am I suggesting no more negative reporting? Of course not. I am suggesting balance. I want to see examples of peace, prosperity, projects, success on the news as well.

I once worked for a news-channel and their philosophy was:

a) If there are no pictures, its not news
b) The biggest problems equal news

This means that balanced or positive news bores people and makes their ratings go down. "Bad news" is viewed as some type of action-entertainment. Its more important to show the victims of something than go to the root cause of an issue and examine it.

Apart from the negative programming the other type of programming is "positive" programming but only in the sense of "things YOU will never achieve". We are shown pretty faces, fancy cars, lush island paradises and perfectly formed bodies....but always with the message implied "thats far away from YOU. You need to earn it! Take up a credit!"

The third kind of mind-control is related to sound & picture running so rapidly that it bypasses critical examination.

"If it bleeds, it leads..."

TV news is horrible. US cable news is to television journalism what UK tabloids are to print journalism. Jim Lehrer, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert... That's the only TV newsmen you can trust.

As for TV being a mind control device. Certainly it is from the brainwashing aspect of commercials, but I don't think an episode of CSI is preparing us for the New World Order. Or "Magic Schoolbus" is teaching our kids to worship Big Oil. TV is like the internet, books, magazines, any form of info/entertainment... It's what you make of it. All possible good, all possible evil. You make the choice what you see. For example, there's absolutely NOTHING negative about watching and old episode of The Andy Griffith Show.

Do they still use subliminal advertising in the US? I saw a cooking program on a US channel posted on youtube some months ago, the program was showing gourmet food being prepared but had a MacDonald’s subliminal message come up (ie the MacDonald’s logo) in one of the frames. The guy that uploaded the footage noticed a flash whilst watching the program which he found odd. Fortunately he had recorded the footage and ran it in slow motion and clear as day, the McDonalds logo was there in a fricken cooking showing. I know in the UK it is illegal to run subliminal messaging but it annoys me so much that these huge companies would dare do this to people.

EDITTED:-

No, but shows like Navy CIS, Threat Matrix, 24 or whatever makes you believe the "bad guys" are middle eastern people. Its very effective. In the 80's, it was the russians. I think at some point it was the Chinese as well, wasnt it?

Its more like "opinion control" really. The reality and whatever you watch on TV blurs together and forms your opinion of the world. Of course you could say... who came first? Is reality following TV or is TV following reality? In any case, it makes your belief in someone being a enemy much stronger than it would be without the TV.

Of course, in the US you also have Fox News which really is even worse since it tries to pass itself off as news... makes it even more likely that people believe it.

There are mind control operations being carried out by programming and adverts. Additionally there's strong controlled media peices to alter your perception.

I think Tell-Lie-Vision definately has something but I'm thinking because it is spelt Tele-vision it has more to do with telepathy which the name could also be used to do exactly as we are discussing.
