anyone who thinks they've had an encounter

I was wondering if any of you noticed a noise?
I'll explain myself.
A couple of years ago I was walking round back-roads where i live (a village in Scotland) with a friend.
It’s made up almost entirely of fields and trees, and whilst we were walking round, we started to notice things. To mention now, we had some alcohol before we set out, but by the time we started our walk, we were almost completely sober. I know this will bring down my credibility, but there would be no point in writing this if I was going to lie.
At first, we thought our mind was playing tricks on us, as it was at night, but then we found ourselves staring up at a light formation. I honestly couldn't believe what i was seeing. 3 lights, in a triangular shape were very close to one-another. They stopped dead in the sky, and moved out to form a larger triangle, turned slightly, repeated itself, then proceeded to disappear. I tried to take a vid on my mobile, but the quality was appalling.
Then, whilst feeling slightly invigorated by what we had just saw, continued on our walk, until we saw something I don't think either of us will forget for the rest of our lives.
A light appeared in the sky, just a little larger than the stars appeared to be. It then grew closer, though still a field and a half away. It looked like the shape of a plane, except it was more rounded, and the lights were all white. It stopped in mid-air and descended behind trees.
By this time, both my friend and I had our phone cams out, and tried to get it, but again, the quality was abysmal.We tried to convince ourselves it had been a plane- we were shaking and near tears. The road we had to take to get back, curved round that field, so we thought we would go and see nothing was there, and we would laugh about it in the morning, but what we heard scared the s*** out of me, to put it lightly.
We saw flashing lights in the field, they were not very bright though, although we heard a noise I had never, and since haven’t experienced. The only way I can describe it is like when a large truck moves backwards, except a lot softer, and between beeps, the sound kind of dips. I decided to go over and investigate (whilst holding my cam phone), but I fell down a small ditch, (it was pitch black, due to it being about 11pm, and there being no street lamps) and had to be pulled out by my friend. We then decided to call my father to come get us, but he basically implied we were talking nonsense- which left us no option other than walk home.
No-one seems to believe me, so i'm kind of starting to doubt myself. I just want to know if anyone has ever had a similar experience, particularly with the noise I described. I did capture the noise on my cam phone, and I stored it on my comp, which has since been formatted, but I’m sure I must have a copy of it somewhere, and if I find it, I will post it.

first thing's first - you should try to find a copy of the sound you recorded. without it you have only a story. sounds interesting though, i hope you find it.

i was thinking the same thing except this one had no abduction element to it.

wow, i just read it, and it does sound very similar. except i dont know of anyone who has heard that same noise as me...it haunts me whenever i think about that night.

Hi there (I'm new too)! I had a similar experience when I moved to North Yorkshire in 1995. Initially looked like a very large blue/white star (much bigger than Sirius). Started flashing a specific colour sequence ... blue/white to green to red for several repetitions. then disappeared for a few seconds ... reappeared in the same spot (frosty night - no clouds) ... flashed the sequence another 4-5 times before shooting down and across the sky at 45 degree angle. Then it stopped abruptly some way above a distant tree-line ... flashed the sequence a couple of times ... then appeared to be moving backwards in the sky, very slowly ... followed by bright pulsating flash and it was gone.

I'm from Ayrshire, so i'm not too far away lol.

my mum had a similar incident years ago, she and her friend were driving through a country lane in wiltshire uk and saw 3 triangle lights, they were real scared as they felt like they were being watched, they stopped and got out the car and the lights stopped too, but when they continued driving the lights followed them.

Sorry plmodel, didn't hear any noise because it was too high-up in the sky ... that's why I initially thought it was a big star. But I did have some really weird dreams that night when I went to bed. The night-time weirdness continued for about two months ... I kept having random 'revelationary' thoughts - about all sorts of things related to the seeding of our planet and ancient civilizations etc (being a novice n'all I just thought I was coming-up with these thoughts myself ... god bless the ego! This all came to a climax with a full-on abduction experience (see my updated stat's column on the left.

Hi plmodel, first of all can you tell us where in Scotland this was and when? And have you had any strange experiences since? I'm from Fife, we have a lot of UFO activity here.

With a sonar background I can say that a lot of machinery can be analyzed through sound waves... but we would need the actual tones and range. a transient off a flying triangle would be a great find!

I'm positive I heard a recording of what was supposed to have been a black triangle at a UFO conference years ago. This should be online somewhere. I wonder if it's been properly analysed since?

It was in a place called Drongan, in East Ayrshire, do you know it?

I've had a few weird things happen.
I keep seeing the typical ''men in black'' looking guys aound once a month, though its weird because where i stay, if you see someone wearing shades (IN SCOTLAND?!?), a long coat, gloves and a briefcase lookin kinda shifty, you notice them!, maybe its just me, but no-one else seems to notice them. though, that is just a crazy thing, im probs just paranoid.

also, ive been having vivid dreams since it. not about aliens though.

And every now and again i see lights in the sky. Down at the school there was one once. it hovered there for 15 mins then disaeared, and i felt like it was watching me...
dunno, maybe the only thing thats happened since is that ive got more paranoid..lol

the only one with a clear sound that i recorded was the one that landed.
ill try find that ufo thing your talking about, and ive been lookin so hard for the one i took, but i cant find it, its frustrating, it feels like the x files when everything is destroyed lol

They sound like Mormons. If you get talking to one he'll probably tell you he worked at area 51, (no kidding). Try to get hold of some Ron Halliday books at your library or cheap off the net. They're quite up-to-date and full of really bizarre UFO stories from all over Scotland and probably your neck of the woods too.About those beeps - were they rapid or was there a few second space between them, and when did this happen?

this happened when i had my encounter with what was to me, a ufo. um it was a kind of soft beat like so-count periods as seconds-

beep . . beep . . beep

and in between those soft beeps, there was other noise, like a mix of low soft tones, and higher tones.
ill try find anything that resembles it, and ill post a link.

This sound you speak of is the sound of the anti gravity propulsion system.

There are diffrents types with diffrent speeds , The newer up graded versions you cannot hear at all.

It is kind of hard to explain but how one would work ( to my conlusion ) would be to to admit a sound that would Decipate the gravity around the ship. You could acutally build a ship almost like some thing like that out of your back yard if you knew how to create that sound , And the rest you could use some kind of weighting system with iron or some kind of metal or such that would get pushed up if you want to go up , and such ( since there is no gravity a 15 pound weight getting almost thrown around the ship at a certin volocity in a certin direction.

im unsure of what your point is, sorry, im not trying to be rude, i am genuinly interested in everything everyone has to say, because i know nothing about craft design, or aviation - i tend to study the human condition included in sociology, psychology, history etc.

Two witnesses are better than one. See if you can get your friend to wirete down in his own words what he experienced, then post same.
