The Beginning of the End Has Begun! :D

Why? Because. Tsunami, then Katrina, then this fire in California. Next it will be the super eruption/earthquake predicted in Southeast Asia. Then Yellowstone. And plus all the Middle East crap with Israel being reinstated after WWII, and the site of ancient Babylon being destroyed by America (we invaded?). Oh yes, the looming threat of WWIII against a Central Asian Axis of Iran, Russia, China, and Middle Eastern Iranian Militias.

And so now things seem to be speeding along at a notably accelerated pace, the rhetoric, the events, the catastrophes that are unprecedented. I'm not going to be like .. just because weve had the worst hurricane in 90 years and the worst fires in 90 years all within 2 years time, all while WWIII is looming, all while our freedoms are eroding at home, all while the dollar is dropping too, that we're all gonna die and the end of the world is now or anything. But I will say I can tell events are speeding up, negative ones, disasters, and economic problems, wars, and rumors of wars.

And all while the stock markets become more and more unstable until they eventually crash, and then draconian measures are taken by private militias hired by the left overs of corporations and bankers whom we owe credit or loan debt to, after the fall of our civil society, who will hunt us down mad max style (pun intended) and threaten us with weapons, seizing anything of value to try to settle the debt, just like petty thug drug dealing criminal gangs.

Oh yes, after America implodes, the entire COUNTRY, save the "safe havens" of rural areas and wilderness, will be like the REFUGEE CAMP in the movie "Children of Men" . Yes, the whole darn country is going to be one big crapper.

So keep sitting down on it and taking your dumps, soon the septic tank is going to bust and the stench will reach into the heights of heaven itself, beyond the skyscrapers, beyond the ghosts of the twin towers, beyond the richest echelons of society.

Runetang, unfortunately, you are probably closer to the truth than any of us would like to admit... It'll be okay, though.

It will get worse before it gets better. Just try to hang in there while the world goes crazy. I think afterwards things will change for the better, and I also believe 2012 is significant for this change.

We'll see if im right...im probably going to still be on this site in 2012 unless I get too annoyed at all the disinfo agents running around....or get killed somehow (in which case im coming back to haunt you). =)

Anyway, on the 18th of november, the Mayan 5th night begins and lasts for 360 days this time. I do not believe that year will be very enjoyable. For the one following the Mayan cycles:

In the National Underworld the Fifth DAY had been followed by the Fifth NIGHT, during the period AD 434-829, which brought the collapse of the Roman Empire through the onslaught of the Huns and Germanic peoples. This initiated the so-called dark ages in European history. The early Christians that in the beginning of the Fifth DAY had been so inspired by the message of Jesus and the incoming energies had believed that the Kingdom of Heaven was imminent and that Jesus would return to the world. With the beginning of the Fifth NIGHT this expectation was however thwarted. Thus, in the latter half of the Fifth DAY the Church became organized in a tight hierarchical structure and as the Fifth NIGHT (dominated by the energy of the lord of darkness, Tezcatlipoca) began the Church Father Augustine introduced the idea of the Original Sin in the Christian teaching, Moreover, the emphasis shifted from the resurrection of Christ to his suffering at the cross.

A direct parallel to this scenario unfolded in the beginning of the Fifth NIGHT of the Planetary Underworld in 1932. After the experience of a new freedom in the roaring twenties and the energies would be reversed and a reaction set in. The Stock Exchange crash in New York in 1929 was the forerunner of the Great Depression whose worst year globally speaking was in 1932, the very year that the energies of the Fifth NIGHT became dominant.

About a month after the Fifth NIGHT began the Reichstagsfeuer took place in Berlin, which became the pretext for Hitler to take dictatorial power in Germany, and the rest we know. Typically, people did not initially take this change for real: Following the Stock Exchange crash in New York people in general expected a swift upturn and initially few understood the danger of the rising dictatorships. The Fifth NIGHT of the Planetary Underworld turned into a great reaction against many of the liberating phenomena that had come into existence during the Fifth DAY in the same way as the Fifth NIGHT of the National Underworld became a reaction against the spiritual hopes that Christianity initially had brought.

Copernicus, I tend to agree with you on this. There are some hard times coming, but for those who are strong enough to make it through, they will be rewarded.

I'll be safe in my mountain bunker in South Africa, sipping from brews and watching the end of the world. I'm not gonna get caught with my pants down when all the signs are here that the end is nigh. I'm trying to decide what song I should play when the continents start crashing. How about, "It's the End of the World as we Know it by R.E.M?

Oh, this kind of stuff happens all the time. Sometimes a little more than others. Now, the mid-1800s, there was a real time of turmoil and catastrophe! Volcanic explosions, massive earthquakes, killer bizzards, global conflict, massive pandemics, mass murder (Jack the Ripper), and much more. Check your history books.

If the world was going to end, that would have been the perfect time.

Yeah I think we'll probably run out of oil and fresh water before anything, then we'll just go back to the stone age for awhile, most people won't survive without their computers hehe, there ipods and fastfood.

What will more likely happen is that if you're lucky enough to live in a modern city with clean water and food and medical care, you'll be okay. If you happen to live in some small village or large, crowded Third World city with lousy water and miserable public services, you'll get wiped out by widespread disease and starvation and slaughtering each other in refugee camps. So some people will get to sit back and get hot delivery pizza and watch football on HD television, while the rest of the world degenerates into a nightmarish hell. Everybody posting here, who has a decent home and a computer and all that stuff, will be fine.

Just one thing: Stop rooting for evil.

I dont think anyone will be OK. For some grim looks at the future I suggest an old classic Soylent Green, also a newer movie Children of Men. The urban centers will decay. The countryside will be rife with roving bands of people surviving by taking from others. The best place to be would probably be a remote wilderness enclave with people you can trust and who can shoot. Read the book The Postman, pass on the movie.

And therein lies the root of the problem, too many movies and too much television.

The world will not end anytime soon, i wholeheartedly believe it.

Don't jinx yourself with arrogant statements like that, or your bunker might collapse on top of you in the event of a major earthquake.

The wheel of life is always to change positions, only we small finite beings would think in our hearts that we could make the evolving cosmos stand still.

however, for my entire life i've had a gut feeling for no reason, even before I was christian, that I was living in the last days of this age at least, and that I'd see Messiah come or at the least, the downfall of the Western World, or the whole world.

even as a child and teen, a common attitude was, why try to learn, why save money or anything, im only here to watch the world die.

i've been incarnated into this flesh for this very purpose, ringside seat.

my soul has failed numerous times at attaining a level capable of entering heaven. but this time, I am here for a reason, and will know that reason more and more as the time goes by.

if there is a breakdown of society, i will gather the available flocks, teach them how to fire guns, how to live off of nothing, self sustained, with our own crops. even for medicine. I have a stock pile of poppy and kaneh-bos'm seed just to grow and medicate the masses if society ever completely breaks down.

Runetang, the bible is pretty clear that the generation that sees the establishment of the state of Israel, which happened in 1948, would see the coming of Christ. I say that Christ is already here and we are all to blind to see it, or his return is immanent.

I disagree, i believe that it's the end of the beginning.

The rest of the world needs a taste of some apocalyptic wrath before we even get started on the beginning of the end.

Modern day imaginations amaze me... What exactly would you term apocalyptic? The death of a couple of billion people at one time? It won't happen. When the "end times" are over with and done, there will still be 1.5 to 2 billion people left on earth. Tragic? Yes. What most people expect when they think of the "end times"? Nope.
