You see these people on Tough Crowd with Collin Quinn and Dennis Miller joking about political events. But they take themselves seriously. Viewers take them seriously. Why are they being paid to joke about things that have consequence in slaughter?

Sure, theyre probably funny for some people, although I find it intolerable. But why dont they just take a little bit of time to research what theyre talking about instead of saying things like Well, we should probably be bombing Saudi Arabia at the moment, if anybody.

Why dont they look into things? I actually thought these Republicans on the Right knew that this was all about money, imperialism and the global game of monopoly but chose to use the terrorist wildcard as a demagogic reason for it. They actually believe that its all going on for the good of themselves?

Jesus Christ, if thats the case, stopping the funds to Israel, asking our allies Russia to stop killing Chechens, getting out of every country in the Middle East and apologizing for letting the CIA set up an inevitable Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 to 1989 that killed millions of Afghanis would probably cure the problem but according to Dennis Miller that would be like bowing down to the punks or something.

Stopping terrorism has never been the initial plan though nor has finding weapons of mass destruction or liberating the Iraqis. Theyve got to liberate their own civilians and burn those Patriot Acts first!

I cant help but gasp at the delusional American media, its pundits and the ignorance that follows

You have to come to terms with the fact that the majority of people in the world are idiots. That is the way of humanity. They are the sheep who get caught up in the popular world, that they could care less about politics.

I have a theory that no government would have to control the news. They would do better to control mainstream popular culture (i.e. music, TV, movies etc.)

If the majoriy is satiated, then the small minority wouldn't get much attention.

Thats our freedom of speech at work...during world war 1 if these comedians existed they would all be thrown in jail. Everyone has the right to their opinion, its your right to listen or ignore what the morons say. But theres nothing wrong with them being able to say it.

Denis Miller is the poster boy of Hollywood Whoredom. I can see him offring oral service to anything with a pulse whom he thinks can get him on TV again.
He's now doing a political talk show on MSNBC or some other alphabet cable channel.
WHORE, unrepentent & ful service.
Extreme Right Wing Comedians are rare, so right now, besides him & Rush, they've got it all to themselves.

What about the others in Hollywood, BT? All those 'activists' that need TV time now that All in the family & MASH re-runs have ceased?

Point is, I don't think Dennis needs politics as much as some people

Oh, it's on CNBC, btw

Don't forget Coulter is kidding. O'Reilly even called her on it. He asked "you can't be serious" about 50 times in one interview and she just smiled and quoted "Jimmy Carter is the devil" passages from her little joke book.

She bangs Bill Maher for crying out loud. It's a right/left scam. They're both in on it. Like when Liddy and Leary took a "debate" act on the road for money. It's a total joke and people BUY IT!

Well they did, The Conservative Book Club now includes Treason in it's "any three books for $1" promotion. O'Reilly killed her credibility.

Ann "the man" Coulter & Bill Maher bumping uglys is a sight I'll have to wash from my minds eye with battery acid!

Yeah, what he said. My eyes hurt from just reading that! You might as well have said Rosey O'donald and Bill O'Reilly! Oh damn, did I say that?

Are you serious!? I can't stand that right wing fascist bitch! I liked Bill Maher, but if he's banging her, I've just lost all respect for him.

Collin Quinn's show does make laugh
Bill Maher is hit and miss
Dennis Miller is a waste of tv time.
Chris Rock? does he still have a show?

Dave Chappelle Rules!!!

back to the original post. I have no problems with comedians or anyone expressing their opinions on tv, be it serious or funny....
My only complaint is that it isn't DIVERSE enough!!

Forgot to mention "The Daily Show" with John Stewart!!!! that show is hysterical
