I don't know about you guys.

But I personally feel that dubya's moronic front is nothing less than a VERY well played out act.

I'm sorry, but I don't think he's the idiot everyone thinks he is. Personally, I think his whole ruse is meant to draw attention away from him and put the sheeple of Amerika at ease. You know, a sort of "he's so dumb he could never do that!" kind of way.

Am I alone here?

I don't really follow your logic here. How would having a moron behind the weel of a bolting train put anyone at ease?

Because the majority of the country still believes the president actually has some kind of power.

Keep a silly acting front man and the demons behind the scenes.

You have some nerve cussing at the man still keeping this union together. There is a high tension and we conservatives are getting tired of you liberals.

Bush is a great man, he is the Tito of our day!

This reasoning makes little sense as there's still the question of how the impression of having a moron behind the weel would put anyone at ease? Wouldn't you want someone who know what they are doing if you were a passenger on that train?

How is Bush keeping this union together? If anything he divides this country even more. The republicans and democrats are responsible for what we are dealing with right now. Bush and the republicans were at the helm when all the massive spending and disasterous policies started coming out of the woodwork. For example, Medicare part D. Who the hell would allow this entitlement to go through? especially when the funds aren't even there for it!!!

As a fiscal conservative and registered republican I would say that Bush is a horrible president, a bible thumper, and a complete psycho who's really jst controlled by dick cheney. The sooner these clowns and the current Republican/Democrat leaderships are removed by elections the better.

I can't wait until Ron Paul is the next president. Finally some fiscal conservatism & some common sense in the whitehouse.

too bad Bush isn't a conservative Eclipse_solar.

He is a divider. He is a ignorer.

He is not a moron. He is a slick man who played his role with great precision. He may have had his moments of doubt, but, great things put pressure on all but the most cruel of people. That is why Cheney didn't skip a beat.

If you were truly a conservative ... you would be APPALLED with Bush. He has lied, broken promises, and spent more money than any president before him. He has increased executive power and government/military spending and unity. He has done everything a TRUE conservative would be against.

Maybe you need to re-evaluate yourself, you political affiliation, and who people really are a bit. Just because you are in the south, doesn't make you a conservative. Just because you run for a certain party doesn't mean you represent nor live up to that party's belief systems and goals.

I agree with the o.p. and have begun saying it occasionally in the threads. He played the puppet to Cheney, though, he was culpable ... whether he wished for the same extreme of accomplishing the goals, his goals were the same.

I agree also, that, if Ron Paul is who he says he is, and not a farce, then he is our best hope ... Kucinich is pretty good, but he wants to abolish hand guns ... which technically is ok because we could still own rifles and shotguns ... so I don't fully hold it against him since I am anti-gun control ... but Kucinich is more conservative than Rudy Guliani ... to be honest, there is no good candidate who would be best for our country right now. Just a lesser of evils. Where is a real person. Enough of the 'politicians' ... let's elect a human ... I may not believe in reptilians, but they all act like snakes.

the whole political thing is like a poorly written play. 'all the world is a stage' ... seems more true today than ever.

This coming from one who has what might as well be a nazi flag under his name. I'm not liberial but I'm seeing a growing trend when it comes to people like you sticking there collective heads up and speaking out for the right...? At the very bottom of why you support the right and the way the right has been moving the last 8 years doesn't surprise me seeing a confederate flag on this board.

Is Bush a moron ?
Well Bush is all to easy influenced and out of his depth and requires election results to bring him and his cronies come crashing back to reality . Bush would be a nice guy to know around the neighbourhood but in his role as president he acted like a moron all right.

That's funny....

I am a right wing Conservative and I neither support the Confederate Flag, nor do I have/need a Nazi symbol under my name...

What exactly does that type of name calling and ridiculous hate speech do for the Liberal agenda? Even if you SAY your not Liberal...

I can SAY I am not a human, wont make it so, but I can sure say it..
